EAGLE'S NEST
Much to Hopper's dismay, Jonathan insisted on going with Hopper and Murray, not wanting to lose Hopper like he lost his mom. They walked to the elevator like Dustin and Erica said, getting in.
"So then I yank those cables like I'm pulling weeds." Murray continued talking.
"And that'll set off the alarm-" Hopper coninued.
"-according to Alexei, may his soul rest in peace. Which should give you two an opening to retrieve the keys from the vault." Jonathan watched as the two men came up with a plan before chiming in himself.
"And then we just follow the map to the observation room, turn the key-" Jonathan began, looking at the paper in Murray's hands.
"-kaboom, we blow this sucker sky-high." Murray said, smiling.
"Yeah. And then, once the rift is closed, we escape back through the vents." Hopper said.
"Right under their commie noses." Murray said, looking at Jonathan then at Hopper.
"Then home free." Jonathan finished.
"It is a good plan. A solid B, which is laudable, given the situation and time constraints. Dare I say, if it all goes right...they'll never even know we were here." Murray spoke as the elevator came to a stop.
As the door opened, a group of Russian soldiers pointed their guns at the trio of men.
"Остановись прямо там! Stop right there!" The Russian yelled.
"Не стреляйте! Не стреляйте! Документы, важные документы - для лейтенанта-товарища! Он позвонил нам в последнюю минуту. Простите за неряшливую внешность. Don't shoot! Don't shoot! Documents, important documents-for the Lieutenant-Comrade! He called us, last minute. Pardon our sloppy appearance." Murray said, coming up with a valid lie.
"Лейтенант? Какой лейтенант? Lieutenant? What Lieutenant?" The Russian asked, confused.
"Lieutenant...Molotov?" Murray asked, hesitating.
The soldiers grab their guns, about to shoot, but Hopper goes all maniac and shoots everyone of them dead.
"Oh, shit." Hopper said, looking at the dead soldiers. "Jim...this is crazy." Murray said, shocked at Hopper's sudden logic.
"Oh, my God." Jonathan spoke as he looked at the group of dead soldiers.
"Jim, I...this...I had it under control." Murray stammered. "Yeah, sure you did." Hopper said sarcasitcally
Hopper begins to undress one of the guards, undressing himself. Jonathan looked at him confused.
"What are you doing?" Jonathan asked, giving Hopper a confused look. "I'm improvising." Hopper said, agitated.
THE GRISWOLD FAMILY
"What the hell?" Mike asked as he looked under the hood of the car.
Eleven in the very back with Max resting on her legs. Will and Lucas were in the backseat, waiting for Mike and Nancy to come back.
"The ignition cable's gone." Mike said before everyone turned around, hearing a car engine roaring from across the car park. She noticed Billy in his car, obviously hoping to run them down. Nancy quickly ushers everyone out of the car, Mike, Will and Max helping El get back inside.
"Back in the mall! Back in the mall! Go! Go, go, go!" Nancy said, scared. Everyone made it back inside the mall, trying to get far away from Billy.
