The party and I haven't seen Dustin since we left him on the top of the hill, but we weren't really concerned, maybe because we all assumed that Steve was looking after him.

Mike placed his hand around my waist as he kissed my neck. I moaned lightly, having felt so good. As he kissed my chest and further down, the sound of a doorbell rung in our ears. I sat up, putting my shirt on as Mike laid back in bed.

I walked downstairs, my hair still a mess since I never bothered to brush it. Getting to the door, I open it to see Max.

"H-Hey Max? What's going on?" I asked as I let Max inside.

"Something's wrong with Billy. He isn't leaving the house and he keeps talking to someone as if they are his sacrifice..." Max spoke.

Within minutes, Mike, Max and I were in the basement of Mike's house, talking about the issue. Mike called Lucas and he was on his way. After 5 minutes, Lucas arrived, confused. We all stood around Mike's basement table, Mike ushering me to talk.

"I didn't think it was anything at first. I mean, I think I just didn't want to believe it. The first time I felt it was at Day of the Dead." I spoke, a little scared.

"Power went out that night, too..." Mike remembered.

"What does it feel like?" Max asked, confused.

"It's almost like... do you know when you drop on a roller coaster?" I asked.

"Sure," Lucas said, nodding.

"It's like... everything inside your body is just sinking all at once, but... this is worse. Your body... it goes cold and- and you can't breathe. I've felt it before, whenever he was close." I spoke, a bad feeling enveloping my body.

"Whenever who was close?" Max asked once again confused.

"The Mindflayer..." I admitted. "El closed the gate," Max said. "I know, but... what if he never left? What if we locked him out here with us?" I asked.

I put a piece of paper on the table, beginning to draw the Mindflayer on it.

"This is him. All of him. But, that day on the field, a part of him attached itself to me." I said, explaining my version of what happened last year.

I rubbed my hand on the picture, my hand now covered in black charcoal.

"My mom got it out of me...and Eleven closed the gate. But the part that was still in me, what if it's still in our world?" I asked, flipping the paper over before putting my hand on it, leaving a black handprint on the clean side. "In Hawkins..." I finished.

"I don't understand. The Demodogs died when El closed the gate. If the brain dies, the body dies." Max tried to think about the situation.

"We can't take any chances. We need to assume the worst. The Mind Flayer's back." Mike said, worried.

"Yeah. And if he is, he'd want to attach himself to someone again. A new me." I said, the bad feeling coming back.

"A new host." Lucas summed up. Max started to look around, worried.

"How can you tell if someone is a host?" Max asked, confused. I looked over at max, having a feeling that she knew who the host was going to be. Billy.

"If we can find out who the new host is...we'll need someone who can fight them...someone stronger than all of us," Lucas said.

"What about El?" Max spoke, looking at Mike and me.

2 hours later, Mike and I convinced Hopper to take us to the lab, so we could get El. Arriving at the facility, I saw a man and a girl.

"You requested for Eleven...here she is." The man said, releasing her from the restraints.

"E-El....you look....great," Mike said, hugging the girl he hadn't seen in ages. He walked back over to me, holding my hand.

"Thanks." She said, getting into Hopper's car. We drove back to Hawkins, getting to the pool. Lucas and Max had met us there, happy to see El again after all the time she had been gone.
