Chapter 9

Moon Hae-won POV:
10 years ago.....( Hae-won is 14)
"Mom, there is going to be a talent competition
in our school this week...I am going to dance in that!", I was excited for it.
"Really!! Then practice well okay. I will tell your dance teacher Mr. Seo to train you well. Paiting!!"my mom said
Although I was a bit plump looking I can dance really well. My dance teacher Mr Seo was the best..
He trained me throughout the week for the competition. I was happy and can't wait for the competition.
It was the day of the competition and I wore my dance outfit. I thought I looked so cool.
"We will be in the crowd,Araseo. Don't worry and do well. Paiting!"my dad cheered
"Paiting!" I replied back.
I reached the venue and I was very nervous but I was excited at the same time.
It was my turn and I faced something I couldn't overcome.
When I went on the stage, the music started but while I was on the stage the music had some problem and it was going on and off..
I couldn't dance well because of it and I slipped due to the confused dance steps and fell down.
I could hear the crowd laughing and pointing at me.
I could see everyone taking videos and photos.
My dress was also torn due to the fall,
"Get off the stage fatso..or it will break from your fall", a boy in the crowd and everyone joined him.
I ran out of the stage,crying and that was the first time I had my panic attack..
I returned to the dance practice but I couldn't perform in front of other people because I would remember those moments.
So I quit the dance class. I changed my school too.
Though through the years I lost weight I couldn't go on the stage,but I couldn't stop my urge to dance.
I danced secretly....
The present...
I told everything without crying which surprised me a lot.
"The reason I joined as an assistant is because I felt closer to dance even though I couldn't dance. I loved to see others dance".
Saying this I sighed. He didn't say anything for a while which scared me. After a moment of very painful silence he replied,
"You are coming to office right after you get alright. I am expecting you and bring your workout clothes".
He got up right after he said that,he thanked my mom and left leaving me with my mouth open.
My mom was smiling like she knows something I don't. My sister and dad came home at that time
"Did I see your Boss just now...why was he here?"she asked
For that she got a big slap on the head from my mom and she said,
"He is such a sweetheart. He came and apologized and bought chocolate for since she goes crazy for them. I approve".
"Approve for what omma?"I was confused.
"To date him, ofcourse",my mom said dreamily.
I blushed red and my dad burst into the room yelling,
"No, both of them are not allowed at all...like at all. Araseo".
"Do you want them to end up alone..you are being too much!"my mom replied back
"Ahhhh....it not like that with him..he is my boss only", I shouted
"For now atleast.."my sister added.
"Yah..don't make me kick you", I said
She stuck her tongue out at me and the whole day went my mom and my sister teasing me while my dad was sharpening a knife for some reason??
The next day after a lot of convincing my parents left home and I left for work.
I reached the office and sighed
"I can do this!"I thought to myself. I went inside and I was met my Taehyung.
"Noonaaa, it been so long since I met you. Are you alright? I heard from hyung you were sick. Gwenchana?"
I was surprised that he didn't disclose this to his friends considering they are so close.
"I am fine, Taehyung ah. How is your practice going?"I asked him
"It's going great, though I am not as good as Jimin and kookie I am pretty well according to Hobi hyung. Speaking of him, he asked me to inform you to come to the 2 floor dance room".
I nodded and headed towards  the dance room.
When I went there I was greeted with Mr Jung in his dance outfit and had his hair in a headband.
He looked so good... He turned ahd he saw me
"Hae-Won come here", he waved for me come there.
I hesitantly walked to him and bowed at him
"I am sorry , Mr Jung for not telling you sooner".
I felt him patt my head and when I looked up,I saw him smiling which looked like a sun shining brightly. I felt my pulse rising up.
"I am the one to be sorry, I was very harsh on you and I couldn't ask for more perfect assistant."
The word 'assistant' felt like a stab to the heart.
"Now, I want you to change into your dance outfit and meet me here", he said.
I went inside the women's changing room and change quickly.
When I came out, he was warming up and saw me coming out.
He said the words I haven't heard in a long time
"Now, let's dance shall we..."
