Chapter 25

Moon Hae-won POV:
So, the next day I rented a Strawberry costume, bought a strawberry cake since he liked them and hid it on my bag. I went to my seat and I saw him there already. I got him coffee and said
"Goodmorning!!"
He looked up and said nothing. I expected that and while I put down the coffee and slipped a note which said,
"Dance room in the third floor in 10 mins"
I knew he would do that and I excited the door silently. I saw that he noticed the note and looked at me with confusion.
I just winked at him and ran to the dance room.
As expected no one was here since it was a small room and no one practiced here often. I quickly changed into my costume and looked at the mirror . I looked ridiculous and cringed at myself but I consoled myself saying it's for him.
I switched off the lights and waited for him. The moment I did that I heard footsteps and voice calling,
"Hae-Won, why did you call me here... Hae-won"
He switched the lights and that moment I came out with my strawberry costume with the strawberry cake.
I came towards him singing,
"Niga neomu joha
ottoke ottoke~

ottoke ottoke~

He was laughing at me I didn't know it's either for my costume or my awful singing.
I went to him and said,
"Mianhae Hoseok Oppa!! Forgive me, please!" I said in a cute voice which I know I will regret forever.
He immediately fell down on the floor laughing and I felt like an idiot.
"Yah...what the hell was that.." he said inbetween his laugh.
"Forget it..*sigh*here, this your strawberry cake".
I kept the cake beside him and was about to leave because of my embarrassment before I was stopped by him.
He hugged me from my back and said,
"There is no need to ask sorry jagiya because you did nothing wrong. I was glad you did that because it shows that you actually care about me. Besides you looked adorable then and now too",
I blushed at that comment and came out of the hug to go change.
"Hae-Won ah" I turned and saw the flash go off.
I realised what he did and I yelled,
"Yahhh, Jung Hoseok!!!" He ran and I chased after him. He was heading to the stairs and I came to a halt because there were people there.
"Aishhhh"... I turned and rushed before anyone could see me. I changed my outfit and headed to my desk.
I peeped inside his cabinet and saw him, Yoongi oppa and Jin Oppa peering into his phone.
When I heard Jin oppa's windshield wiper laugh I immediately knew what they were laughing at.
I immediately bursted through the door and shouted,
"Yah..Jung Hoseok!!"
He saw me and shushed the other two. When they saw me they looked like they were just minutes away from collapsing on the floor.
Yoongi oppa was holding the table, Jin oppa's face was beet red and my lovely boyfriend was clenching his face to stop the laugh.
"Don't tell me you showed them the picture", I questioned.
As soon as I said that they burst out laughing and holding their stomach.
"Mianhae Hae-won ah, Jin hyung took my phone and the picture was the first thing there", he said trying to control.
"Jung Hoseok come here...I wanna kill you this instant", I ran towards him as he hid behind Yoongi oppa.
He stepped aside and I caught hold of his ears yelling at him.
After some time, when all of the calmed down we were eating in his office while Hoseok was rubbing his ears in pain.
"Yoongi oppa, when did you return?" I asked him.
"Yesterday night, Sim-Yeon and I had a great time in Italy", he said.
"Ah....that's nice", I said to which he smiled.
"Yah, Yoongi you must have had, P-A-S-T-A  pasta and P-I-Z-Z-A , pizza huh", Jin hyung said and laughed.(see what I did there;-) )
Yoongi oppa looked unimpressed and I chuckled at their interaction.
After lunch I got to my work while the other two left and hobi was also working.
The rest of the day went off quickly and it was already 6. I got up to leave and Hobi was also leaving at the same,
"I'll drop you home, Kaja", he said.
I nodded and then he dropped me home and left. But not before giving me a long hug saying,
"I'll see you tomorrow jagiya", I smiled at him and nodded.
I came home and noticed my sister as usual watching yet another drama with her headphones on.
I looked at the screen and saw it was True Beauty which I saw already. She was holding her popcorn and watching it with full focus.
I sighed at the screen dreamily because it was my favourite Hwang in-yeop. God he was gorgeous but he get only second leads which breaks my heart.
I went and showered then sat on my bed with my laptop. I opened it and checked for any new mails.
I was scrolling through when I noticed a specific mail which said
From Im Jaebum.
Gosh I haven't heard that name in since forever. I opened it and read the mail,
Dear  Moon Hae-won,
We are hosting a reunion for the students of  our batch. I hope you show up for the reunion. I am awaiting your response. Please send ASAP.
Venue: KBM barbecue
Date: 27.02.2021
Time: 6:00pm

I was taken back by this invite. I was contemplating about whether to go or not when I got a call from Hobi. I picked the call while looking at the screen in perplexion.
"Anneyoung my girlfriend, what are doing now?"
" I just received an invite to my school reunion and I don't know whether to go or not. Should I ?"
"Reunion..it must be fun to see all those people after so long, you must go",
"I dont know if I want to see those people. Remember these where the one who made fun of me during my performance" I said
"Ohh yeah...I totally forgot. But you can't run  from the past for too long. But it's up to you if you want to go or not. How about this..I will come with you? Otthe?"he asked.
"Chincha...thank you, thank you . I would do anything for you. Sarangeyo uri Hobii", I said.
He laughed through the phone and said,
"Dhae..dhae Sarangeyo. Now go sleep it late",
He said. I said goodnight and cut the call.
I replied to the message with the yes as the response.
I closed my laptop and lay down thinking about the reunion. Now going there to meet the worst people doesn't seem too bad because I will have him by my side.
But, I was far from ready for the reunion than I thought.
The drama I was about to encounter.....
