I was awakened by his furious shout
I can hear sobs, painful ones
I can feel my mom tugging my shirt
I can see his tears racing down his perfectly arranged face
He was shouting my name
Yelling at me to wake up
But I am wide awake
I can see them perfectly

But he didn't move from his original position-kneeling in front of me, crying

And it's driving me mad
I tried to recall all of what happened this day
I was with him, celebrating our 4th anniversary in an amusement park
Then I grew hungry
We took a cab
Then it hit a car
The driver was drunk
He tried to pull me with him

He fell and he was wounded but alive
Then there I was, lying on the ground
With blood all over me
I heard his footsteps
