Every moon cake has wished for this to happen. They say it's long overdue. Shen Yue's voice has been heard by the world and they all but say the same thing.
Her voice is angelic; a coaxic calm that you want to hear it over and over again.
When a photo of the Moon was posted prepping to launch her first single, everyone was ecstatic.
It was palpable that she sing a love song with that heavenly voice of hers.
So when the news of her MV was to be aired, mooncakes are bouncing off the walls.
The 4 minute video trended on top same day it was released.
It started with the story of a pretty girl admiring the beautiful sunrise. Shen Yue , picture-perfect in white sits by the window.
The camera zooms out and it showcased how huge the house was, vastly displayed in all it's splendor.
Then the perspective change to white walls and cold tiled floors. The house was almost empty.
Shen Yue was singing how alone she felt despite fulfilling her dreams and having everything she wanted.
A drop of tear fell from eyes, her beautiful face on full focus, her long eyelashes so exquisitely curled.
She was asking why does she feel incomplete?
Was she being selfish wanting more?
While she asked the heavens to help her find was she was looking for, the scene changed to a panoramic view of the blue sea.
Her now long hair blown by the wind, she walks by the shore.
When she insists the almighties take her heed, it seems like they already have her wish granted- rushing towards her.
The man was running in a certain manner that appear to be distinct only to him.
When she finally reached her she knew
he has mistaken her for someone else.
As luck would have it, their chance meeting led to another until they become inseparable. Two lonely souls finding the happiness that evaded them for a long time.
Truth be told, all was reeling with the next scenes of the pair being in love.
Sitting close together, wrapped in each other's arms, never ending kisses.
The back hug at the balcony showing the riot colors of the horizon was a splendid sight.
Viewers commented that the scene was somehow familiar.
At some point, Shen Yue was again expressing her state of panic when they have to part. Telling herself it was too good to be true.
But her misery wasn't tragic or irrepressible as she thought, seeing as he came back with a promise to stay forever.
While she chanted about how fate had brought them together, after being lost in two separate worlds, we see a silhouette of two figures sitting close together enjoying the majestically bright moon.
Again, the figures utterly familiar .
Afterwards, the lovers intertwined hands appear on the screen, a hint of twinkle on the most important finger was faintly flashed.
Finally, the song concluded with her being grateful she found what what she was looking for and she promised to cherish every moment, forever.
The last scene showed the couple sitting on the grounds facing each other.
The beautiful sunset witnessing the sweetest kiss.

It was noted that for the entire duration of the video, the man's face was never revealed. His back, hands, hair, the side of his face and shadow was all they allowed.
The identity of Shen Yue's partner did not remain a mystery though. It was a dead give away that apart from the mooncakes, JY sisters were in full support promoting Yue's single.
There's one minor detail they missed that all sisters are aware of.
No one runs the same way as Jerry Yan.
