A Shock

It's been a few months. I'm still dating Regulus and everything is going great. I pranked James and put dye in his shampoo. He started chasing after me. The Marauders followed behind and the girls ended up seeing so they also followed.

"You're actually gonna jump again?"-JP
"Are you fucking serious?"-RL
"No, I'm fucking Regulus. Also my animagus is an owl."-YP
"WHAT?!"-JP
"Oh shit."-RAB
"Well they are dating."-AB
"WELL UH BYE."-RAB

So after I did that Regulus and I went to Hogsmeade while James was still looking for both of us.

"Why'd you tell him there?"-RAB
"I thought it was about time he knew. I also had an easy escape."-YP
"Thanks for thinking about me."-RAB
"Hey it's not my fault you followed them up to the astronomy tower."-YP
"Okay well he still would've come after me."-RAB
"Exactly he still wou- HIDE."-YP

Just then James walked through the door with Sirius. We were at Three Broomsticks.

"We're in even more trouble."-YP
"Why?"-RAB
"Remember how I can hear things really well?"-YP
"Well yeah that's how you knew James was coming."-RAB
"So um the day that we went to the field after I went back to my dorm. The Marauders were there and the girls brought up that I might like you. So I left. I was in the common room and I heard them talking. I heard Sirius say he likes me..."-YP
"So my brother likes you too?"-RAB
"Pretty much. Now let's make a run for it."-YP

We ran for it. I mean like 🏃🏻‍♀️💨🏃🏻💨. I was faster of course.

"James they just ran for it. Let's go."-SB

We went to Regulus's dorm. We ended up talking for hours. It got really late and we fell asleep. Little did I know James got into the Slytherin common room and found Regulus's dorm.

"WAKE UP."-JP
"huh? oh shit."-RAB
"Y/n wake up."-SB
"You have exactly three seconds to explain why you just woke me up."-YP
"Because we need to talk."-JP
"Funny I didn't know you wanted to die today."-YP
"Um James if I was you I would run."-MM
"No we need to talk first."-JP
"Fine."-YP
"Everyone get out except you two."-JP
"They're gone now. What do you want?"-YP
"How long has this been going on?"-JP
"A few months."-RAB
"WHAT?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?"-JP
"Because this would happen. You would get super mad."-YP
"Now if you don't mind I need to get ready for class."-YP
"Me too."-RAB

I went back to my dorm. I was in my third class.

"Y/n?"-McGonagall
"Yes?'-YP
"Would you like to explain why you're wearing a Slytherin tie."-McGonagall
"Oh sorry."-YP

We got our ties mixed up. That mean Regulus was wearing a Gryffindor tie. I searched for him everywhere. It was already lunch. So I grabbed Regulus without anyone noticing.

"What?"-RAB
"Look at your tie."-YP
"Oh shit. When did you realize?"-RAB
"I didn't. Give me my tie back. Also Professor McGonagall called me out. So whoever was in my third class knows that I had a Slytherin tie on.-YP
"You go back first."-RAB
"Okay i'll see you later."-YP

It turns out news spreads fast. The only thing that would give away mine and Regulus's relationship is if anyone had seen him wearing my Gryffindor tie.

"How did you not realize you were wearing his tie."-LE
"I don't know. Let's hope no one saw him wearing mine."-YP
"Well someone saw Regulus wearing a Gryffindor tie."-MM
"Oh fuck. I'm gonna go."-YP
"Let's hope that doesn't go around."-AF
