"May I ask you a question,  young lady?" He asked the child standing on the edge of the cliff.

"Yes" She replied.

"What was the reason that you are taking this step? "

She was all silent for a while before speaking up to the man dressed in a black gown. " Sometimes it doesn't goes the way it should and the darkness swallows it all" she said with a cold eyes.

"What a pity full story!" He faked signed. "Listen kid." The man began. "Don't you think its obvious for all. We all are in that whole and somehow we are surviving."

"You don't understand, sir." She said.

"Do I?" He replied. "Can you explain."

"I could but I don't like explaining."

"OK listen,  I don't have enough time now but...I was going to meet someone and I stumbled upon you." He said.  "And die so young…"

"Oh God! Why do i have to explain it to you?!" She sounded annoyed. The man signed heavily.

"Sit here and look at the sky, kid. Don't you think its beautiful…..beautiful like life. I'm a old man, dear... I know how can life be  hard on humans. I have traveled the world and slowly becomes boring to like but i don't have a choice except for leaving. And you are a kid who have not experience any adventure of life."She kept her head down listing to him. "I have failed to save other  youngest who take these kinds of decisions and....... i truly hate them."

"Then why are you telling me?" She asked.

"Cause you the only one I could meet and see" He smiled. "If I could live for so long and do not regret it then why not you, time and life is limited here, once everything is fine. It will be OK and anyways I can't motivate you cause I don't know your rea-."

"My mom is in hospital and she will die soon……. I don't have anyone and too young to get a job and pay fees for school" She said in a cracked voice. The man felt silent.

"What's her name?" He asked.

"Maya Webber" she said weeping. He pulled out a old book and started writing something on it and smiled at the sky.

"Go kid your mom won't die….. for you, I promise." He said. She smiled and made her way back to the hospital. He kept standing there and
watched the girl go and soon coming back with her mother smiling brightly at him before they both fade away.

"Hey! Why did you do that?!" He heard his friend joining him. "That's agents rules."

"I know but i did not do anything wrong….."and for one last time he looked at the human world before fading away. "The job of a Death God is not that bad…..I guess."
