Its been about a week since Jhenè has spoken to anybody...anybody at all shes isolated herself after finding out now that Ro and Emana are now also engaged
She knew it would come but she was completely shattered that everybody was just getting engaged and going on with their lives meanwhile she barely got to enjoy hers however Jhenè kept it to herself she didn't wanna feel entitled
Her days consisted of the same thing over and over again, the only people she spoke to were Kal parents,Nylee and her own parents they were the only people making an effort to come to the apartment usually popping up un announced
Jhenè hums to herself as she puts her strength into sweeping all the dirt off the carpet into the dust pan, a hard knock echoes through the apartment making her stop in her tracks
Jhenè stayed quiet continuing to sweep the carpet knowing to use the broom as a weapon if she needs to, Kal parents,Nylee and her parents were the only two people who had the new key set to the apartment since she changed the locks
"Jhenè open the door can we talk"Jhenè heard somebody from outside the apartment door,she kind of recognized the voice but she wasn't sure
"No"Jhenè yelled to them continuing to sweep the already cleaned carpet

"Ok im coming"Jhenè called back to whoever it was at the door,holding the broom in one hand walking towards the door she looks through the peephole seeing Rodier standing there
She takes a deep breathe out before unlocking the door but the deadbolt she got installed prevents it from opening all the way
"You got a deadbolt on the door"Ro asked furrowing his eyebrows knowing that wasnt there before
"Is that why you here"Jhenè asked speaking softly with a attitude
"No im sorry I wanna talk to you can I come in"
"Sure"Jhenè told him closing the door to unlock the deadbolt then she fully opens the door, Ro could tell how shes been she looked completely out of it
He walked inside seeing the apartment spotless not a speck of dirt anywhere,everything was placed\propped up nicely as well
"Take off your shoes"Jhenè commanded him snapping him out of his zone
"Yea I gotchu"Ro said taking off his white van sk8 hi-lx sneakers leaving them at the front walking into the living room staying by the archway seeing Jhenè is sweeping
"I take it you heard the news"
"Congratulations"Was all she said dryly as she now uses more strength to sweep up the carpet this confuses Ro but he says nothing
"Jhenè im sorry for not coming to see you sooner like I should have"
"You not my man anymore its not your job to"Jhenè continued to speak to him in a dry,bored tone avoiding eye contact with him
