Jealous

Hayoon/Natalie POV:

These days have been nonstop working. Day after day all the staff in all different areas continue to all prepare for ENHYPEN's debut promotions. 

I really haven't talked to the boys since the concept photo shoot. It's not that I am avoiding them and I don't think that they are avoiding me but we've all been too busy to talk to each other. Of course we would greet each other if we ran into each other but besides that there was nothing much. The person who would have the most contact with me was Sunoo since only him and Niki have my number besides Jake. Niki looks less uncomfortable with me but I can tell that we are not close enough to be texting. Sunoo mostly texts questions of what he is unsure of or just says hi from time to time, for him I could say we have grown closer together.

Today we will be shooting Let Me In's MV and it is also Jake's birthday. I decided to buy him a gift since he is my friend after all and I don't want to show that we are in a "fight" in front of other people. I bought him a jacket and a perfume since I had no idea what I should buy him so I bought him something simple.  

Everyone has now arrived at the set, shooting will start in 20 minutes after ENHYPEN finishes putting on their first outfit for today and they are all done getting their makeup done. 

I'm at the room where the other stylists and makeup artists are of course along with ENHYPEN. 

"Hayoon-ah come, help me take these outfits to Mrs. Choi, the boys are done with their makeup." Ms. Lee instructs as soon as I come into the room. Mrs. Choi is the most experienced stylist out of the 4 stylists here, she is kinda the boss of the other 3 of us.

I knock on the door that Ms. Lee instructed with the 3 outfits that belonged to Sunghoon, Jay, and Sunoo. As soon as I hear Mrs. Choi say come in I go inside the room to see all 7 boys there along with Mrs. Choi and Ms. Kwon which were doing final touches to the other 4's clothes. 

"Oh thank god Hayoon please hand out their outfits." Mrs. Choi ordered after she had spotted me when she looks away from Niki's outfit which she was fixing.

I first went up to Jay who was the closest to me and hand him his clothes. I then go up to Sunoo and he starts to converse, "Noona!"

"Hey Sunoo!" I answer with the same energy he has, well not exactly it is too hard to replicate his sunshine energy.

"You know how today is Jake Hyung's birthday?" He says whispering. I nod yes. "Did you get him a gift?" 

"Of course I did."

"Okay that's good. I've been feeling him weird lately. I think he misses seeing you. Whenever he sees I message you he wants to know what we are talking about."

"Okay Sunoo. Oh yeah here your first change for the video." I say handing him the blue outfit. "I gotta go give this to Sunghoon talk to you later okay?" I say to him right before I leave. He just nods and heads to the changing room after I leave. 

I then approach Sunghoon. "Hey Sunghoon here's your clothes." 

"Oh hey Hayoon. Thank you." He says after taking his eyes of his phone taking the clothes.

"So if you don't mind me asking... Who are you texting?" I ask wanting to start a conversation with him.

"Oh, I'm texting my sister." I make an 'Oh' face after his statement.

"How old is she?"

"She's 13."

I make an 'Oh' with my mouth once again before saying. "I've always wanted a younger sibling. I hope to meet her one day."

'10 minutes left. Everyone please be on set in 8 minutes.'

This was heard from a speaker informing us filming would start in 10 minutes but we should be there 2 minutes before.

"Oh shoot you still have to change! Go change." I say to him after the announcement.

"Okay I hope to talk to you later bye Hayoon." With that he leaves the room.

I go to the set and see that the 4 members that were done since earlier were there. Ms. lee was also there checking on their outfits. They seemed more relaxed with the experience of their first music video which I was glad of. I decide to approach the 4 as soon as I did unexpectedly, Niki was the first to greet me.

"Hi noona." he says with a smile.

"Hi Niki!" I say brightly. Then Heeseung, Jungwon, and Jake followed to say hi.

"Hey Jungwon congrats I heard you were selected as leader."

"Oh yes, thanks noona." He says with a smile. 'He's so cutee'

"So how are you all?" I ask kinda concerned.

"Better than when we filmed Given-Taken I guess we are more used to it now." Heeseung responds.

"I'm glad." 

'1 minute before starting.' was announced through the speaker. I hadn't realized but all the members were now at the set.

"I guess I gotta get going. See you guys later!" I say to them and the 4 start to walk away waving except for Jake. I wondered what was happening to Jake while I talked to them he did not say a word besides hi. Is he maybe regretting to want to be my friend again?

Jake POV:

When Hayoon approached us I wanted to talk to her right away. But the others started to talk. I can't deny the fact that I feel pretty jealous every time I see her with the other guys or even other staff. 

She probably didn't notice but I saw her talking to Sunghoon earlier. I see it in his eyes that he likes her just the way that he looks at her is enough to tell. I can't help but feel sad that my best friend might like the same girl I do. I kinda wish she hadn't met the other guys. I just wish she had to Korea and we reunited and I could've finally told her how I felt. I just feel like a coward for keeping my feeling all this time. I just hope that she is able to wait for the day I am brave enough to confess...
