Surprise for my Girlfriend

Traffic

As I got closer to the airport traffic got more and more dense. "Ugg traffic" I said annoyed.
I checked the time on my phone 11:25
Shit i hope I make it in time! This traffic is bad.
Just as the words come out of my mouth a fire truck and an ambulance speed by.  Oh there must me an accident up the road. I thought to myself.  "I hope everyone's okay" I said with a frown. 

               ~~Time Skip~~

I checked the time again 11:46 Then I got a text from kairah, 

Message from Babygirl
"Hi Bebe the plane is about to land. I Love you so much💙💙"
I message her back   "hi baby! I'll be waiting by the stairs. I love you too! 💜❤️"
I put my phone down and looked back up the cars in front of me were finally starting to move.

I finally pulled up to the airport. I grabbed my phone and wallet and hopped out of my car.
As I walk into the airportI check my time again, 11:56 a notification came up from kairah

Message from Babygirl
"I just landed I'm getting off the plane now I'm so excited to meet you!" 

I responded "me too! What gate are you at?" 

Message from Babygirl
"Gate 8"

I put my phone in my pocket. I looked at the board hanging from the ceiling, gate 8 was on the other end of the airport!  I immediately started running. I was running as fast as I could trying to weave through people and there luggage.

Message from Babygirl
"I'm walking out now"
I ignored the ding coming from my phone.
I was running faster then I ever have before. My hair was now a mess and I was out of breath. I finally got to the stairs panting. Then I looked at the top of the stairs...
