Flora's POV

Ugh why do I have to work on a Saturday, that's not what weekends are for. I'm supposed to be able to lie in and watch Netflix all weekend, not go to work. I mean I guess it could be worse, I do like my job. I work at COMPANY magazine and I don't mind it one bit. You also get to see the odd celebrity coming in or out, but I've never talked to any. You're not allowed to really talk to them unless they ask you something or you've been assigned to take care of them for the time they're there. Otherwise its deemed unprofessional. That's what my best (and only) friend Olivia does she gets signed to take care of celebrities while they're in for interviews or photoshoots and things like that. I wasn't really surprised when she got that job as she's so confident and outgoing and really doesn't care what people think of her, but she can also tone down and be professional when she needs to be. In fact she was the one that got me my job here back when we were 16, she somehow persuaded them to hire me and here I am now 3 years later.

I managed to get to work on time by some miracle, as my alarm didn't go off and I slept in by accident. But I made it nonetheless. Olivia had been calling me the whole way here but I just put my phone on silent, because I absolutely hate talking on my phone in public especially on quiet trains. As I sat down at my desk I finally called her back.

'Omg finally Flora'

'Sorry you know I hate talking on the phone in public'

'I know sorry but this is urgent'

'Fine okay what is it Olive?'

'Stop calling me that I'm not a pizza topping, but I need your help please Flor I know you're going to hate me for asking this but I'm supposed to be looking after some people today at work but I completely forgot that its my grandpa's funeral today.'

'Omg Olive I understand that you can't miss that but can't you ask someone else?'

'I tried but everyone else is busy, please Flor just this once for me?'

'Ugh I can't promise it won't go horribly but okay.'

'I can't thankyou enough Flora, seriously you're the best. I'll phone Alex and tell her you're taking over for me today.'

'Okay see you tomorrow love you.'

'Bye love you too.'

Well I guess I'm doing that today then. Wait shit...why did I agree to that??
