I was in shock, I was truly in shock. Louis just told me he was gay and that he loves me . OMG!!! Then I replied by telling him I love him. This is so amazing. He turned back to face me and smiled, looking at him smile I couldn’t help but smile back. That was the first time I smiled in days. “Let’s get you home then” he reached down and picked up my duffle bag and slung it over his shoulder. “I can’t go back there” I said softly. He nodded as he knew what I was talking about. “I won’t let him hurt you again Liam” he replied and grabbed my hand, entwining our fingers.
We stood still for a while just holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes. He leaned in and gave me a soft kiss on the forehead, I smiled weakly. We let go of our hands and exited the bridge. We had to let go because if any fan or paparazzi saw us we would be on the front page of every paper and magazine. Neither of us were ready to come out yet.
It wasn’t a far walk back to the flat but the weather wasn’t the best so it made it feel longer than it was. We arrived back and walked up to the front door and stopped. “Don’t worry about them Liam” Louis quickly whispered in my ear before opening the door and leading me inside. Luckily no one was in the kitchen as we walked in. We made our way through the living room and saw Harry sprawled out on the couch and Zayn on the recliner. We walked passed them, I avoided looking at them. None of them said anything or even looked in our direction. They were to busy watching the TV, thank god.
We walked away from them and to my room. He opened the door for me and I walked in. Louis put my bag down beside my bed. He helped me change into some sweats and t-shirt, because you know I was weak, cold, tired and everything else. After that he helped me into bed then stood over me and kissed my forehead softly. “You look so starved Li” he sigh and I nodded. “Don’t worry I’ll go get you something to eat” he smiled softly and walked out of my room. After a few minutes Louis came back carrying a cup of coffee and two cheese and ham toasties. He smiled and sat back where he was before. “Here eat up, this will fill you up and warm you up too” he handed the cup and plate as I sat up.
He was right; the food did fill me up and warm me up. I smiled thankfully at him. He moved so he was sitting cross legged facing me. “Are we together now?” I asked as a whisper. “Yeah, well only if you want to be, you know” he replied. I smiled “yeah I want to be with you”. He smiled back and kissed my cheek. “Liam I’m real sorry for not saying anything the other day. It’s not like I didn’t like you being gay, it’s just that it was a shock and surprise. And I was scared that if I said something to you. You’d think I was gay and in love with you. I’m really sorry I should have said something to Niall”. I nodded and grabbed his hand, entwining our fingers.
