Part 2 ★ Wedgehurst Lab

Ash's POV

I read the sign WEDGEHURST LAB, "I think this is the place Pikachu!" I knock firmly. And hear a ruckus from inside and a girl-ish scream as someone fall's over. We wait a moment and the door handle twist's. "I'm so sorry! i-i-,HEY! We met before didn't we? haha,I'm so sorry I didn't interduce myself,i-i Was in such a rush... The name's Goh!" The adorable,adorable? Person Said as they put out their hand. I shoke their hand "I'm Ash! And this little guy is Pikachu!" I smiled "PIKA!"

"Come in, and make your self's at home!" Goh,said as they gestured towards the inside of the lab."Ooo,before I forget!" I said as I hand them the sketch book as we walk in "I found this,thought you'd might want it back" 

"THANK ARCEUS! I was looking for this. Thank you, It due today!" He said happily as he hugged me, It caught me by surprise at first. But I kinda liked being in their arm's,I didn't care if they were a boy or a girl it was hard to tell,but something about this hug just felt right?. I blushed as they pulled away "Uhh,Due?" I asked trying to feel less awkward. "Ahh yea,I'm Prof,Oak's assistant. He asked me to research the new pokemon of Galar!" they smiled

"Hey,I know Prof Oak! He gave me my buddy here" I said as Pikachu climbed my shoulder "Pika!" Goh gave Pikachu a Pat on the head "HOW'D YOU NOT GET SHOCKED!" I Stared at the younger person in shock "Pikachu,Never let me pat him when we first met!" Goh giggled 'adorable...' I caught myself in thought,I didn't know this person for very long. But it feels like I've known them for age's.

"Please have a seat! Make yourselfs at home" Goh said happily. "Would you like some tea or coffee?" They asked "Water please!" I blushed 'why am I getting so flustered?' Pikachu gives me a sly look "Shut up" I say in monotone voice. "Here's your water!" He hell's as they walk outta the room "And here's something for you Pikachu!" Handing Pikachu a poffin. "PIKA!" Pika thanks Goh. "I'll take that as a thank you!" They smile.

They made their way couch, "Ouch" I hear a peek outta the smaller person as they clutch their ankle. "What's the matter?" I asked more worried then normal. "I twisted my ankle,when I trying to run from the rookiedee's it's a pain to stand and walk around on. I have no idea how I'm gonna tell prof.Oak about my research..." They said sadly...

I think for a second,"I could,help you. I know prof,I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I helped you out!" I said hoping for a 'yes' A huge smile grew across  Goh's precious face. "Really! I would love the help!" They thanked me. "The call is at 5pm,two hours from now. If you need a place to stay for the night your welcome to stay here,We have a spare bedroom" they said as they took branch their cup of tea to their lips and drank it down. "Thanks!" I beamed 'Why do I wanna help this person out so much' I thought.

Goh's pov

"Oka!" I said rather loudly "I gotta get to my PC to call Oak" I stand up with a pain shooting down my ankle,I whimper 'Is it getting worst?' Ash looks up at me and stands "Need some help walking" he asks, I slowly nod,blushing walking to my PC would be a nightmare. Outta know Ash picks me up,I stare at him and blush even harder my face turning a deep red "Whoa i-i- didn't know you'd carry me when I agreed for help!" I laughed Ash just smiled and asked "Which way do I go?" I pointed to the sorry on the right up the stairs 'this boy isn't even breaking a sweat carrying me' I thought as we when into my office and he sat me down on my chair.

I reach over desk for my laptop and turn it on. Watching the screen light up my face,I quickly sign in and open Discord to call for Prof Oak. I ask Ash "Hey,can you get my research book & bag?" I smiled and he nodded as I hit the Call button on on Prof.Oak's profile.

"Ahhh good afternoon Goh!" Prof waved

"Afternoon!"

"I take that you've finished your research on Scorbunny?"

I nod "Yea,I did! Even caught one to show"

Ash came in and Handed me my bag and research book "Thank!"

"Ash is that you?!" The prof yelled surprised Ash lightly blushed "Haha,Yea Goh and I ran into a bit of trouble and I helped them out!"

"That's so like you Ash" prof exclaimed. "Now,the research pages,could you scan and email them to me?" Prof asked,I nod "Sure!"

"It's getting late,l'll set up the 2nd bed for you,in my room" I said as I climbed the stairs to shower and get dressed in my PJ's.

After I showered and make up the 2nd bed for Ash, I lied in bed, thought's of Ash came to my mind. I blushed,'what is this boy doing to me' I pulled the blanket up more and sighed. As I closed my eye's.

Ash's Pov

I went upstairs,it was getting pretty late. Goh said they made up a bed for me in their room. I twisted the door handle and opened it slowly. The light escaping the gap I created. I looked over at Goh, they looked so peaceful. Adorable really,I would keep my eyes off them. 'what's this cutie doing to me,never felt like this towards anyone' I blush as though wander my mind. I sigh and claw into my bed,and close my eyes.
