This incident took place during their wedding.
Even after getting out of the abusive relationship, he started having nightmares about his ex's mistreatment. At this point, he suffered from insomnia. He even started to cut himself. It took Jungkook many efforts to get him back to normal and then Jin came into the picture. Their combined effort helped Jimin to become what he is today.
But his ex's words still haunt him to this date. It never got flushed out of his brain.

"You're a burden on this planet"
"You eat so much. No wonder you are fat."
"You're friends just put up with your whiny ass. Nobody wants you."
And because of these brutal words, he sometimes feels insecure about his relationship with Yoongi. Many what-ifs questions come across his head every day. Yoongi is there in every moment of his life to assure him that he will be always there for him.
Over a few years of dating Yoongi, these brutal words....Somehow stopped bothering him. But whenever he heard someone saying these words, he still gets triggered. He didn't tell Yoongi about this as he thinks that Yoongi will get irritated from the constant reassurance and leave him.
But, all negative thoughts aside, everyone is hyped up today because it's Yoonmin's wedding.
Yoongi was standing on the altar, waiting for his Forever. He couldn't wait to see his angel mochi in a white suit.
