The Fallen Child- UNDERTALE AU

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙗𝙮 𝙢𝙚! 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙡𝙡 𝙚𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙮! 𝘽𝙩𝙬. 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙥𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙮𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙨𝙤 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙩!!

(Davina/Vi POV)

'Mama!!? Where are you...?'

I called, looking around to find a cave,

My curiosity got the better of me and I peeked in.

As I continued to call for Mama,

I hadn't watched where I was stepping.

As I tripped over some roots, I fell down and into Mt. Ebott, I felt sheer terror. I screamed as I fell down.  All I thought about was Mama. I needed to find her! I still can't give up! I need to see her! I need to grab hold of something! I don't want to die! 

As I was falling, My life flashed before my eyes as my adrenaline kicked in. As I panicked. Searching for something to grab a hold of, but I didn't see anything and hadn't realized my body landed on a soft bed of flowers.

As I got up, the surrounding area didn't look like a cave at all. There were paved stone floors and pillars.

As I got up, I panicked as I looked for my locket. Thankfully I hadn't lost it. As I dusted myself off and wearily went through a gate, I didn't find anything but some sort of building that looked like a house. 

'Hello..?'

I squeaked,

mustering as much courage as I could as I spoke, hoping someone would hear me. But all I heard was the deafening sounds of silence. I'd never liked the silence. it always made me feel lonely without mama. Ever since dad left. After what felt like hours, I heard footsteps as I rose up from the ground. That is until someone approached me. Someone who appeared to resemble a Goat-like creature. As I remembered our goat back home, Fern, I felt sad as I didn't know if I'd see her. As she got closer, I wondered if there were more people who looked like her.

'Hello, my child! I am Toriel, Keeper of the Ruins. I pass here every day to see if anyone's fallen down. Now if you would come with me I will guide you through the catacombs and to the castle!  A poor child such as yourself shouldn't be down here.'

Toriel explained. giving me a sad smile of sympathy.

'M-my names Davina..'

I replied, unable to control the emotions in my voice. As she left her hand for me to take, My eyes widened and I felt weary but hopeful that someone didn't try to hurt me so I took the nice Goat-lady's hand, I gave a shy smile that seemed to overjoy her.

As Toriel guided me through the puzzle-filled catacombs, we made it to the castle. There, we saw an adult human! Just like me!

Which overjoyed me.

As I raced up to the lady, I hugged her, which had startled her a bit

'hi!!' I said giving her a big smile.

As I let go, the lady got down on her knees. I realized she kind of resembled Mama as if they were twins or something? 

She had the same red eyes and brownish hair and same face shape but had rosy cheeks.

"Hello," She said, softly. 

'Ah, Chara my child! I was just about to fetch everyone to meet this kind, little girl. Could you notify Undyne, Alphys, and Grillby that I need them at the castle?'   Tori replied, looking as if she needed some help to gather all of her close monster friends.

'Sure mom. I'll let Azzy and Astell stay in the castle before I go. I need to grab some things on the way there.'

'Thank you, my child! I will hope to see you all soon.' Toriel beamed. 

As we walked to the castle, I thought about Toriel. She seemed very nice and friendly. I wondered why she'd go this far to invite some of her friends to meet a little human girl like me.  As We entered the castle, Toriel then led me through a few hallways until I was led into a room with multiple children's beds, that seemed like there were more kids here which would be fun. As I zoned out, I looked at a photo of miss Toriel and two girls who looked like me. But the one looked like miss Chara. But as I looked at the other girl, I felt as if I were her. We looked like twins! It was kind of confusing... As I set it back down, enough to hear what Toriel was telling me. '...Clothes are over there my child! And-'  Was all She said, as a girl about my age, was giggling through a small crack in the door and then scampered off running down the hallway, giggling. 

'I also have a phone with your clothes but I'll be leaving to do some things okay my child? But you may play with my other children, Astell, Asriel, and Chara if you'd like. But mind Chara and Asriel, they're a bit older'.'

She said sweetly, hoping I'd bond with them. Before returning to the door and shutting it for me to change, As my clothes were covered in dirt and soot. 

A few minutes after I'd been done with changing, I noticed how pretty the dress was. The red dress with the pretty yellow flowers scattered on it complimented my crimson eyes and my gold locket. As I looked in the mirror, I noticed that I had some freckles I'd never noticed, even as my skin was very pale and my thin white streaks of hair were messy. As my thoughts trailed off, I wandered into the hallway and looked through the windows but caught sight of some people. There were two....skeletons?

When I started staring, one of the skeleton's eyes started glowing yellow to my bewilderment, like how mamad showed me how with mine! As they looked my way, I dove under the window, which sent a chill down my spine. But as I hid under the window sill, a goat-like girl, most likely the one from earlier, was giggling as I joyfully got up to greet her.

'Hi! I'm Davina!' I said, cheerfully as she greeted me with a smile.

'I am Astell! My mom is Toriel!' She said, giggling as she grabbed my arm.

'Where are we going? I asked. Confused. and maybee full of a bit of curiosity

'Oh! To Azzy and Char! My siblings!' She said with a playful smile

'Miss Chara? I thought she went to get their friends? maybe she came back already?' I thought to myself. I shrugged as we walked to a room where Astell's brother Azzy, was talking to a talking flower. 

At that point, I was bursting with curiosity at this new world and its wonders.
