Chapter 2: Breakfast Talk

You just woke up from a deep slumber, slowly opening your eyes to face the bright sun blinding you through the clear glass panes. You shut your eyes again and turned around to face away the window. Although you already woke up, you felt tired and wanted to continue sleeping. You didn't bother to check the time, when-

"Y/N? It's already past 9am.."

You forcefully blinked your eyes open when you saw Jungkook in front of you. You felt your cheeks slightly turn red when you realise his face was not that far from yours.

"Oh sorry," he backed away quietly.

He smiled and walked out of your room.

You rubbed your eyes together to get yourself active. You finally checked the clock.

'9:16'  It read.

You turned your vision towards the door Jungkook walked out of.

So much for being 'shy'  You thought.

You hopped out of you bed and got ready for the day.

You hurried downstairs longing for your breakfast. Unexpectedly, all four of the princes were on the dining table with you. They looked up at you as you entered the room. All of them waved.

"Good morning princess, how was your sleep?" Taehyung asked.

You froze when he called you princess out loud, causing the other princes to turn to you and Taehyung.

"It was good but-" 

You walked over to him and whispered:

"But don't say that nickname out loud."  You in an embarrassed tone.

He chuckled at you.

"Well Y/N, heres your breakfast," Hoseok moved the plate of food towards you when you took a seat.

You looked up and smiled.

"Thank you."

All five of you started small talk as the conversation grew while enjoying the breakfast the cooks prepared beforehand.

All of you laughed when one of you started joking around, and listened deeply to someone's story of their past. It was one of most enjoyable breakfasts you've, especially since you got to bond with the princes at the same time. 

Wait.. bonding. 

You thought while eating your toast.

That's it! I'll bond with each prince each day, that way, I can get closer to them!

You raised to talk, and told the princes about your plan.

"That's a great idea!" Jimin exclaimed, maybe a bit too loudly.

"Yah, Jimin.. calm down," Yoongi faced him when he noticed the guards turn over to the dining table.

Jimin scratched his head in embarrassment.

"As I was saying.. I think it'd be great to do that!" Jimin repeated, but in a quieter tone.

"But, what if one of us have royal duties that day?" Hoseok looked at you.

"Don't worry, I've got that sorted out too," you went to pull out the schedule for the next week. You began righting on the schedule each day you'd have a bonding timing with the princes. They watched you scribble down a few signs and words, and you showed them the schedule once you were done.

"So.. that means I'm up first?" Yoongi asked.

You nodded and noticed Taehyung sulking.

"I wanted to go first," Taehyung quietly said.

"You're more busy than any prince next week, it'll be worth it when you completed your duties," you comforted his childish behaviour.

He looked up and grinned again.

"Now that's settled.." you put the schedule back to where it was.

"Why don't we all go to balcony today?" you asked.

The princes looked at each other, but you noticed Yoongi beaming at you the most.

"Can we?" Yoongi faced the princes.

They all nodded at Yoongi's question.

Before you could continue, Yoongi dashed past you and ran upstairs.

"So much for mature," Jimin muttered.
