The morning light invades my sight as i open my eyes. I realize i'm in bed, but i never went to bed last night- "oh you're awake?" I see Izuku walks into our room. "Yeah, good morning" i stretch my body and look at the clock. "Good morning sweatheart" he walks up to me and kisses my forehead. "You should go back to sleep, your shift doesn't start in the next hour". I sigh and roll out of bed, "noooo, i still have a lead to investigate". My husband chuckles at my stubborness and pulls me into his lap. "You can do that after you get your sleep" he tells me. "Ughhhh fine!- oh wait can you do me a favor?" I ask. He raises a brow at me but i give him puppy eyes that i know he can't resist. "Alright but promise you'll go back to sleep after" he sighs in defeat.

I wake up feeling like actual shit, my side hurts so bad i stayed in bed for an hour doing nothing. Finally when i did get out of bed i get attacked with text messages from my close friends. They're mostly online but i've met a few in real life. They were tagging me like crazy in our group chat since i didn't talk at all yesterday. After i'm done chatting for a while i go change to more comfy clothes and start my work.

Time skip

Well this is a very unproductive day, i barely did any work at all. I was too worried about the kids i left, did the heroes find them!? What if they manage to find me through them? They would make the kids go into questioning! But the kids hate being apart! AOJDNDSIBDDNNS. I sigh and decide that i'm not gonna get any work done if i keep stressing out like this. It's five pm and i decided to head for the gym. It should keep my minds off things and i change my clothes yet again. To some lose and breathable clothes, i put on a fanny pack as well for my esentials.

(Izuku's prov)

"Has he said anything?", "no, not at all, he wont budge" i answer puppet master, my assistant. He has dark blue hair with a black mask on his face, his costume mostly covered by his purple cloak. We both look to out in the glass compartment, inside with a calm and calculated man. I let out a heavy sigh and we get a different interrogator again. "Maybe that really is all he knows" puppet master tells me. "We don't know for sure, since his dna mastched with her's" i remind him. The interrogator goes in and she starts asking questions.

I hurry on trying to sneak as much food as i can in my backpack. But i'm soon interupted by the door busting open. There stood two heroes, and i'm asuming they're not here for a grocery trip. I quickly zip up my backpack, "oi! Stop moving!" One of them say, i can't see their faces since it's so dark. As soon as i zip up my bag completely i feel ice crawling up my leg. "If you don't want to be completely incased in ice, i'd recommend you stay still" those harsh cold eyes stare down at me. Ice starts to freeze higher parts of my body, to the point it's up my waist. I flash a wicked grin as well as a middle finger for good measure before i teleport with my backpack leaving the ice incasing me behind.

(Shoto's prov)

"Hurry we still might catch her!" Shadow weaver a pro hero with fair skin and turquoise hair hurries me. "Don't you think we should've planned something first?" I ask while running at the same time. "Deku said that her movements are always unpredictable, so we don't have much to go on" she replies. "I can try and track down her shadow, but it'll make me immobil for a while" shadow weaver suggests. "Do it, i'll go after her" i tell her and she starts using her quirk. "She's up north! Not too far from here! Turn left at the third crossroad!" I follow her directions and use my fire to get there quicker.

But when i arrived what in the world is she- i see her giving out food and drinks to several children. They all looked dirty, and malnurished with several bruises. I was in shock by how many kids there were, but just as i start staring at them. One of the kids tap my target's lap making her realize i'm right infront of them. She gets infront of the kids while i'm still processing on what's happening. "Get. Out." She glares at me. "Stay calm, i wont get violent if you don't start it" i say reluctently. I hear her laugh at my sentence, "as if i should trust what you say, hm mr. Shoto?" I stood there not knowing what to do. "Can't you just give them to the shelter near by?" I ask still cautious. She walks closer to me and puts a hand on her hip, "you think i didn't try?"
