We are the ones to bring back the light that has been scattered across the kingdom. So then why is it my job to keep a hold of the darkness?
You were born this way, half-light, and half-dark. You didn't have a choice to choose which one you'd like. You've lived like this for years and the rest has outcasted you to where the dragons roam and where those scrawny little creatures crawl. Even though possessing Light, they still claimed you as Dark. Only a few of your friends fought for you, wanting you to still live with the others as a family. But alas, the votes of others were higher in numbers and the elders have cast you out into the wastelands of what once was a kingdom. Even still when you were brought to be banished from the rest, you can still hear the cries of your friends, begging the elders to reconsider.
Now here you are. Years have passed by and you're still living. Isn't that exciting?!... No, it isn't. Day after day, you can't tell whether it's morning or night. You've been trying to survive with what little resources the place has. It was difficult, but you managed. You even managed to control the darkness you possessed, so that's a plus. During the years here, you've already visited the spirits resting in these wastelands, but most have already seen you as a mistake. Well, except two of course.
The Frightened Refugee had seen what you have and decided to stay away from you, scared of what you may cause with the darkness inside you. The Fainting Warrior fainted naturally as you tried to show him how you were able to control yourself. The Saluting Captain banished you from his ship at first sight when he sensed your darkness. Oh, how it reminded him of that fateful day when the ship was attacked. You would still sneak in sometimes to get whatever supplies you needed though. The Lookout Scout was already in fear of what you might do once he saw you. He is, though, trying to see if he can trust you at all.

The only two that took care of you at times were the Stealthy Survivor herself and the Courageous Soldier. In the past years when you were a kid, and still reeking of darkness, the Soldier had enough courage to know about you and why you were here. You were still a kid before then, so he did feel sympathy towards you. That's how you met your first guardian. He taught you how to protect yourself whenever a dragon does spot and attack you. Then came the Stealthy Survivor. She was wary at first but was then saddened at the fact you were banished carelessly by the elders. Although still possessing dark, she still saw light inside you and decided you did deserve a second chance. She taught you to be kind and how to hide behind places to avoid the dragons.
You were grateful to them both for helping you live your life in this place. As the years passed, you grew older, you grew stronger, and the darkness and light continued to grow within you. You first predicted you would just last for at least two weeks since, at that time, you were just a moth to anyone you met. Well, you were until the elders noticed the ability you contained within you. But now, it seems as if you actually lived for years than you thought. Even though possessing a few stars, and by few, I mean 6 full stars, you manage to stay alive. At this point, you would think it's only you yourself that can live here, that can survive this wasteland of ruins. Besides, you pretty much know the place front and back! To tell you the truth though... You're not the first one to be banished because of who you are.
Right now, you were heading towards the sunken ship to sneak in and take some supplies without being spotted. You walked through the darkened water and through the crabs, your light energy slowly degrading, but not as quickly as a normal sky kid. And the crabs didn't seem to mind you at all, although there were a few who would hit you in annoyance. You were still careful of the dragon though. Even though you can get a hold of the crabs, you were never still able to communicate with a dragon. As you went inside the ship, you spotted some pots and vases that seemed to be in good condition, just a little cleanup and it'll look perfect. You also saw some good and tasty crabs that you can catch and make a meal out of. Saddening, they looked really cute to you, but you had to at least eat something.
