You walked into the Molinas house, only to find Julie and Ray crouching on the ground looking at a lot of papers and flyers. You gently closed the door behind you and took off your shoes.
'Hey, guys' you said and crouched beside them. 'So, what are we doing?' Ray chuckled a little bit.
'Were cleaning up this mess.'
'The Australian school of music?' Julie trailed off and you both look at Ray. 'that's halfway across the world'
'W-w-well I- i was gonna bring you home for Christmas.' He said jokingly. Julie shook her head and stood up, you doing the same. She pushed the papers into Ray's chest and smiled. You waved at him and followed Julie up the stairs.
You jumped onto her bed and you looked at her, but she was looking at a photo. You knew which photo it was, you had always felt bad for Julie. Losing your mom was definitely not the easiest thing in the world. You had told her that days would get better and she needed to stay strong, but you knew every night she cried over her mom's death. You had even heard her once, when you had slept over at her house one night. You wanted to hug her and tell her it would be alright, but you knew she needed to be alone.
'Jules...' she turned around quickley and and raised her brow, to tell you to keep going. 'I was wondering... when WAS the last time you wrote a song?'
She looked down and shook her head. She walked over to her bed and sat beside you. " A few months ago, I think'. You nodded your head and sat up. You hugged her and you could feel a tear on your shoulder that had except her eye.
'Im so sorry Julie, I didnt mean to make you cry' You felt guilty for making one of your best friends cry.
She shook her head. "No Y/n It's fine, don't worry' She gave you a small smile, which you returned. You were about to say something else, when you heard a noise.
'You hear that, right?' Julie nodded and you both ran out her bedroom door. You and Julie both walked down the stairs and figured the music must be coming from the garage. Which could only mean one thing. The boys were in there. Julie looked at you and you guessed she was thinking the same thing as you. Julie shook her head and sighed and you both walked out the front door, following the path to the garage.
You opened the door for Julie and let her go in first. You stepped inside and let the door shut behind you. You both looked at them with the 'wtf are you doing?' face.
'Guys!' you said. Reggie and Luke stopped playing and looked at you. You blushed a little from all the 'attention' and waved at them. You were very awkward sometimes.
'You're not supposed to be playing alone' Reggie looked at her for a second and then turned towards Luke.
'But we're not alone!' he swung his arm around Luke. 'Cause we always have each other!' You laughed and Julie groaned and rolled her eyes. She unplugged Reggies guitar and walked in front of them. You stood beside Reggie and he smiled. Luke looked at the stereo and then back at Julie.
"But we had it turned down to One!'
'But we rocked it on 10!' Reggie looked at you waiting for your response.
'I-i-i ya' you stuttered, not sure what Reggie wanted to hear. Julie rolled her eyes for the billionth time and proceeded to unplug Lukes guitar. Luke looked at his unplugged cord and had a sad expression on, but it only lasted for a second and he was back to talking.
'We were actually waiting for you to get back. We had a band meeting and we have some pretty exciting news to tell you!' he pointed to Reggie who was doing that drum thing with his thighs.
