"Look in the mirror and tell me your secrets."

Roseanne's P.O.V
* * *
As soon as I get home from the lunch 'date' and walked into the house, it was nothing but silence from everyone, I already knew I was in for it.
In the living room sat my uncle and my two brothers. I can tell by their different colognes. They are such original people they never switch up colognes, so it's always easy to identify them without seeing them.
"We need to talk." My uncle says, his voice sounding huskier then usual.
Ugh ... he's mad.
Did Brandon tell him about Ace?
I should make a run for it.
"Sit down." My uncle says. "Please."
Dang, to late to run now.
I smack my cane everywhere on the way to sit down in a chair far away from them. My fingers are wobbling so much out of pure nerves.
"Brandon and Noah have told me about this Ace guy. I don't want you to see him anymore." My uncle says, his leg moving up and down with his words. He gets a nerve tic from time to time. I guess it has something to do with how bad his anxiety used to be. "He seems to have too much baggage. Emotionally I don't think you are ready for this."
I roll my eyes behind my glasses.
Here we go again.
"What do you mean by emotionally? What are you referring to with 'this'?" I asked.
"You know how you were when your parents left. Even though you were around 5 or 6 when that happened, I know it still bothers you. You haven't been the same since. I just don't think you are ready for a relationship. Or whatever this may be. -" My uncle replied, but doesn't get to finish as my brother jumps in.
"He's just trying to get into your pants. But you're so insecure you fall for the attention." Brandon says.
My eyes water up and my heart beats fast.
Wow. Brandon. Ouch.
"Come on now, Brandon. You're going a little too far." Noah says, in my defense.
Noah has always been my favorite brother. Apparently now, he always will be.
"No. She knows its true." Brandon says, firing back fast at Noah's comment. "She's starting to be so thirsty for attention. You should see some of these pictures, uncle, look how cozy she is with him. A complete stranger. Becoming a lot like oh mommy dearest."
Oh no, he did not.
He just went to far.
I march towards him with my cane in my hand and swipe it in front of me real fast. I hear Brandon groan and I know I didn't miss. I hit him about 3 more times with my cane. I hope it leaves a mark or it wasn't worth doing.
After I'm satisfied with my work and my arms start to get tired, I stop.
I hear his moans of pain and smile as I walk to my room.
But I groan as I hear Brandon wobble behind me, squeaking my name out.
He's a fighter, I'll give him that. But he's such a bastard too. I guess he gets that from his father.
