He nodded. He took a deep breath and turned towards the female and asked, "Tell me Aunty why is it only me who gets bullied and not others? Am I that bad." Edwin asked. He had started to breath heavily and eyes moistened again. Seeing the boy in this state would break anybody's heart. Mrs. Chatterjee sighed. "No,you are not bad and nobody deserves it. So my little Niche don't you want to be like Judy."
Gaining this title from a stranger made him chuckle and he nodded shyly.
Mrs. Chatterjee grinned and patted his shoulder and said, "So Edwin, if you have a dream, what is it? Do you want to be a cop too like—what was the name of the character?" She pressed her thumb and index to massage her forehead as an assistance to her remembrance. But soon she realised that old age has taken a toll on her and she indeed have forgotten the character's name.
"Judy?" Edwin reminded.
Mrs. Chatterjee's smile immediately enlightened and she nodded her head up and down.
Edwin shook his head and exclaimed," I want to be a doctor. I have always wanted to be one." He had a grin on his face when he was speaking about his dreams . Mrs. Chatterjee clapped her hands twice like a seal and exclaimed, " Sure be one. A very good one. Okay ?"
The boy nodded. Then the lady turned serious and asked,
"When I was coming towards you I heard you say that you did stop studying if those bad boys bully you. Would you truly do that?" Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion and repentance for the world to miss such an amazing doctor. She was expecting a negative answer.
But Edwin didn't answer and Mrs. Chatterjee's doubt was confirmed. She sighed and she turned towards him and said," Listen boy , people will come and go like wind but you have to be a tree with strong roots, a tree which would still stand without being damaged. If you gain success by fulfilling your dream that is an answer to all your bullies. Remember that, okay?"
Realization washed over his little heart and his eyes widened when he realised he was going to lose hope over his own dream. He raised his tiny fist in determination and said, "I will. I will work hard without losing hope. I will."
Mrs. Chatterjee realised her work was done. They spoke for a while their main discussion consisted of topics like cookies, Zootopia, chocolates, different wishes and also scars in their hands. Later when she noticed the watch it was late in the afternoon so she suggested the boy to leave. She helped the little boy to stand and said ," We will meet again Edwin after you will become a doctor, Okay?"
"Sure but how will I identify you, there are millions of Mrs. Chatterjees. At least tell me your name." She Was turning to leave when the question was asked and then she turned to say her name to this little friend of her. Then Was the boy saw a beautiful scene just like out of a movie. Any director would die to capture such a scene which the boy had seen then. Mrs.Chatterjee turned, the yellow and orange hue the setting sun was creating just behind her which made it seem like the light was emitting from her. An elegant smile on her face and pride evident in her eyes on being asked her about her name. Her face exceptionally calm. And then her name rolled down her tongue
