Your POV

It was late outside. I was wondering a neighbourhood (in Canada that's how we spell it) that was strange and unfamiliar to me. Most of the houses lights were out save a few. It was silent, until I walked by a house with the lights on. I heard a man yelling from an open window. I peeked inside to see what was happening. 

"YOU WHERE BEAT BY A CHILD?!" 

I froze at the yelling. Who was that? I looked inside the window further to see the bi-haired boy again. He was with a man who looked familiar but I couldn't quite put my finger in it. The man was very angry. "Must be a pain in the butt.." I muttered. "I RAISED YOU BETTER THAN THIS!!" The man shouted. Then...

smack.

I watched in horror as the man slapped the bi-coloured boy in the face. That's not legal! I was pissed. My hand suddenly grabbed a rock and threw it though the window. I gasped and froze. The rock landed by their feet. They looked down at it then at me. The man was clearly furious and started walking towards me. The boy motioned for me to run so I did. Then I stopped. I turned around. I looked at the man now sprinting to get to me. Now I remembered who the man was and a sensation of fear ran through me. It was Endeavour. The #2 hero. He was in flames. Literally. I used my quirk to make his body colder and eventually he froze. I then made a cage out of ice to contain him, at least for a while. I ran up to the boy. "Are you okay?" I asked. He nodded, kind of in shock. I took his hand and led him inside. I looked around the house until I found a pack of ice and a bandage. I gave them to him and told him to sit down. He complied and we sat there in silence for a few moments. After a while he spoke. "Who are you?" I answered with a quick "(Y/n)." He nodded, satisfied. "Where are your parents?" I looked at the floor and stayed silent. "Oh..." He said.

Shoto's POV

I stared in wonder at the (H/c) haired girl before me. No parents, no family. Yet managed to beat my father without a fight? How is this possible? Suddenly my phone buzzed. I got a text from Fuyumi.

At least I would have the house to myself for a bit. I put my phone down and looked at (Y/n). "We should get you home." I said. She looked at me, her face innocent looking. "Where?" she asked. "What do you mean? Don't you have a home?" She gave me a look that said 'Isn't it obvious?' "No. Not everyone has a family that loves them. Not everyone has a family at all." Guilt washed over me. She got up and left while I just sat there.

Your POV

I walked out of the house alone, heading back to the orphanage. I passed by UA. I stopped and looked up at the building. I was supposed to be in there now. Maybe I should go back... No. I'll go back in the morning. I'll stay in my base tonight. I walked back to my base and went to sleep.
