Chapter Eight.

She got out of her bed and walked towards the door to receive the eager man she presumed to be the land lord, knocking her door down so she opened the door with a smile on her face just to agitate the man more

"good morning Heston! What brings you- WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

She greeted with a bow but when she raised her head, she found the man to be the one she currently had on top of her death list, (people who she wants to kill mercilessly) it was the same man who had threatened her by saying that he'd take away her gallery.

Keanu Reeves stood at her doorstep with a blank face, dressed in his all black, expensive suit, staring at her as if he expected her to welcome him inside, which was a wrong thing to think as she took two steps back, while glaring at the man and slammed the door on his face.

But Keanu seemed to have guessed that and had placed his leg on the edge of the doorstep, stopping it from closing

"why the fuck are you here arshole? I don't want to see your face unless it's in the court So. Leave. Me. Alone!"

Asterin screamed as she pushed the door to make him leave but he was at advantage because of his tall physique, causing him to easily push her away from the door and enter in

"we need to talk Miss. Knight, so don't waste my time by acting like a petulant child and let's just talk like adults."

he stated and held his hand out towards Asterin who currently was glaring at him while sitting on the floor from the push he had given to door.

She stood up, ignoring his open palm and walked to stand in front of him

"petulant child, I? You seriously have your ego shoved up deep in you to not notice who actually is behaving like a child! Should I remind you of who actually started all this? You did Kieran Reeves. You spoiled my painting, did not apologize for it, could not take a light joke made by a drunk lady and labeled it as 'insulting', bought my gallery just to get some kind of sick revenge by making me sign some contract only to have it backfire on your face and now we are to have a court case... Phew.. So much you have done under your male chauvinist attitude, Reeves."

Asterin smirked after venting at him.

While he just stood there with an unreadable expression

"my name is Keanu not Kieran. Also I think you should refrain calling me anything other than Mr. Reeves as you already are facing problems for one of the names you called me."

He cautioned her, she scoffed at him, annoyed at even having to talk to him

"then leave my house Mr.Reeves! I don't want to see your face, not until I have to face you in the courtroom."

She stated, straightening herself

"about that. I Am taking back the case, I also have the papers to your gallery which I came here to personally return since I wanted to apologise."

He sighed and Asterin was shocked hearing that.

She was so shocked that she started backing away with uncertainty creeping in as she thought that he must have been a part of her dream and that she is still asleep

"you. Are. Apologising? No way... I hate dreams now, fuck this I'm getting up. now."

She muttered as she ran back to her room, leaving a highly amused Keanu standing in the living room.

"get up, get up, get up, GET UP GODDAMMIT"

she chanted, lying on her be, trying to wake her self up from the dream

"Miss Knight this is not a dream. I really am Keanu Reeves and I am currently standing inside your bedroom."

Suddenly he announced making her flinch hard enough to open her eyes.

She stared at the man with her face red as a tomato which Keanu smirked at openly

"do you still not believe me Miss Knight?"

He asked walking closer to her bedside

"shall I prove it in some way, just to help you believe?"

He stared at her intensely, she was just dressed in an oversized tee with presumably nothing underneath it and that was something she had not yet realised but he had

"you-you don't have to! Just get out of my room and I'll join you in a second."

She demanded with a flustered tone and the man simply obliged while smirking the whole time.
