Entering the blue Victorian style house always brought happy memories to me, this was where I grew up.knocking on the door I waited for someone to answer.
Soon the door opened and a familiar face answered it. Chiron had a somewhat forced smile on his face as he walked out the door currently in a wheelchair, but I knew he wouldn't stay in there for long.
"Why did you want to see me Chiron" I asked through a yawn, but Chiron just gestured to me to sit.
"All will be explained once Mr. D joins us" Chiron explained while he moved his chair close up to the round table.
Suddenly the smell of sour grapes filled the air and purple mist formed in the seat in between me and Chiron and there appeared Mr. D with a annoyed expression on his face.
"Good the Johnson girl is here"
I rolled my eyes at these. I learned a long time ago at not taking offense whenever he messes up our names.
" Chiron? Mr. D? If the letter I got was not a prank, then is it true that there is a magical school? I asked
Chiron took a deep breath then cleared his throat.
" I supposed we need to start from the beginning. Back when the "flame" of power stayed in Europe all those years ago the Minor Gods seemed to be worshipped the most. One specific Goddess enjoyed her time in Europe the most."
"Who"I asked
"Who do you think Johnson! That Magic Goddess Herself." Mr. D interjected.
"Hecate" I whispered under my breath.
Both older men nodded.
Soon Mr. D finished the story
"She's always been a wild card when it comes to her followers and it seemed her children have also inherited these trait as well, anyway Hecate seemed to get a kick randomly blessing people all over Europe with the gift of magic. Sometimes she'd bless entire families. She did have her fair share of Demigod spawn and before you knew it they started to form their own society."
When I thought the story was about to end Mr. D begun to act like himself.
"If you'd asked me, I would have recreated the good old days back when they had the right to fear us. Back when I could room free and drink and party and not here babysitting other deities unwanted spawn and so on so forth, but anyway Hecate was never one to conform "
That when Mr. D decided to make a can of Coke appear and began to chug it like he was in a drinking contest.
Knowing that you should never break Mr. D out of one of his moods. Chiron chose to finish the story himself.
" At first those that were descended and blessed from Hecate worshiped her along with her fellow deities, but over time as the magical community grew larger and larger up to where like demigods they are now all over the world. They have forgotten their origins."
It took a minute for me to take these all in soon so many questions came into my head.
" How come we never met them before?"
"My mother is mortal, how come I've just barely gotten these letter?"
"Is there only one magic school in the world?"
" if you keep asking these questions am going to send you back to your father Johnson as a bottlenose dolphin" Mr. D said in annoyance.
Thankfully Chiron only looked amused at me burst of interest.
