The Demiwitch of the Sea

Chapter 1

It was late August and the campers of Camp HalfBlood were all sitting down after morning training for breakfast.

The dining Pavilion was a usual extremely loud place with campers of all ages talking, laughing, and trying to talk over the person next to them, but they had reason to act these way as they had won the second Titan war and after a mourning period was done for the fallen fourteen Hero's they had the right to make these amount of noise, sitting in the far corner of the hall at a table that had a Triton banner above the heads of two teenagers currently eating cereal.

"You knew you might as well become a statue with how long you've been a staring at her" I teased my brother but couldn't hold back a smile myself from the moment I noticed annabeth giving soft smile towards Percy after they got back from their first quest together I was already picturing my future niece(s) and nephew(s) and in my head I was already calling annabeth my sister-in-law.

" Shut up Starfish" Percy responded then flung his half eaten toast towards me right in between my eyes and landed with a splash in my corn flakes, before I knew it we threw our breakfast at each other. Soon I had butter on my face and Percy had bits of the cornflakes on his face. We ended laughing at each other and grabbing our napkins to start cleaning up.

"Well me and Wisegirl will be heading down towards the beach for a bit wanna come?" Percy asked as he cleaned out pieces from his hair. I shook my head no and he took off towards the Athena table where Annabeth sat on the edge of the bench connected to the table with her nose in a book.

Soon both were heading out of the Pavilion holding each other's hand and were laughing mostly it being Annabeth at Percy since she probably saw our miniature food fight. I sighed happily at these and continued to run a napkin over the spilled milk on the table soon a hand grabbed my shoulder causing me to jump back.

"Listen here Clarisse am not in the mood...." I had started but when I turned around my eyes met a pair of green eyes instead of brown. I squealed in delight realizing it wasn't the daughter of Ares but my best friend Lily Evans

"Petals you here!!" I ran into her arms and we hugged each other for a bit.

We soon walked out the pavilion ourselves and walked towards the Demeter cabin as lily needed to unpack.

How to describe my best friend was not an easy task but what I can say is that she was gorgeous with waves of dark red hair and almond shaped emerald green eyes, not to mention she was extremely intelligent just as much as an Athena kid. When I first met her when we were ten years old I thought she was so sophisticated since she grew up with her father, stepmother and half sister in the U.K, which limited our time together,but we keep in touch with letters and Iming a lot. She was a summer camper since during the school year she attended an extremely private boarding school back home.

I helped her bring her trunk into the cabin and soon I sat on her assigned bunk and helped fold her clothes into the drawer under her bunk.

" How was your school year, I've been rereading your letters but I want to hear anything you didn't write in them" I asked as she laughed at these but responded.

"you already knew all the things happening in my school life,but you wouldn't believe the things that Toerag tried on the train ride back to King Cross Station."

I smiled at who "The Toe Rag" was, James Potter a boy in her year at this private school who claims to be in love with her since their second year of school. I found these cute as they could be just like Percy and Annabeth, but lily said she'd rather date one of the cannibalistic horses that we have at camp then even hold his hand.

"What did "The Toe Rag" do now" I asked trying and failing to hide my amusement

Suddenly a red and gold scarf hit my face and lily sighed and started her story.
