Christina's World, Andrew Wyeth, 1948
It was November now, and Olive and George were going steady. Is that what you would call it? They were definitely snogging and enjoying each others presence. Besides that, they were super cute. If you saw Miss Olive Good walking around Diagon Alley, sure enough Mr George Weasley was following her like a love struck puppy and vice versa.
You can say that it was painfully obvious how much Olive Good was in love with George Weasley and the Weasley family was over the moon about it. Molly was stopping by Olive's apartment weekly, after overhearing Olive telling Ginny that she forgot to go grocery shopping and the only thing in her fridge was a pack of muggle beer and a slice of moldy cheese that she wants to see how green it can get before she chucks it.
Molly chucked it...
She had grown close to Ginny, which was no surprise but she also had grown quite close to Ron. Ron will always be Chudley Cannons biggest fan, but the American National team was starting to come close to them. Olive saw Max in Ron a lot, maybe being the youngest brother or maybe it was the innocence in the two. But Ron was also really enjoying her being around more often. The family enjoyed seeing Olive outside of her work presence. She was more outgoing and spoke more freely. Because she makes sure her meetings are all about her clients, they never actually get to know Olive truly, so it was nice for the family to take her all in.
George had practically moved into Olives place, which she didn't mine. Even without asking George, she knew that he still couldn't stand living above the shop without Fred or Maeve. So she surprised him one night, with the most cliche lovey dovey proposal to move in.
Beginning of September
Olive had sent an owl to the shop, she knew George would be closing up shop in the next hour, so she got everything ready.
Gee,
Come to my place right after work!
Have a surprise for you!
Olive you so much!
George laughed as he remembered her pun as he was locking the front door and making his way to her place. He was wondering what surprise she had for him, it wasn't his birthday, it was definitely not an anniversary of anything. He was clueless.
He was still clueless when she ushered him to her bedroom and opened an almost empty drawer with a pair of his boxers folded perfectly in the middle with a toothbrush propped on top.
"Cool.." He said with a confused smile, looking down at the drawer and then at a beaming Olive. "You folded my pants?"
Her smile fell to a dumbfounded look, "You're an idiot." She laughed
It was quite the scene really, there the two stood. A very tall red headed man and much shorter woman who was rocking pink her that day, just staring at a pair of his boxers in a drawer.
"Am I missing something?"
She pulled a spare key out of her pocket.
"You apparate in here like you own the place anyways," she giggled, "why not make it official."
