as i scroll through my Instagram feed, I come across a picture. it didn't mean much to me since I scrolled right past it until I seen a hint of green hair. I immediately thought of billie so I went back and seen her standing behind two females, resting her hand on their lower backs while they slightly bend over in front of her.
my eye brows knit together, as jealousy and anger flows through my body. I quickly go to my contact and press on
"bil💗". it was about 6 rings before she actually picked up and that concerned me.
" hey billie. " I fake smile. she looks at the screen and sticks her tongue out, holding up a peace sign, making both of us chuckle. "woah I just noticed, why you use my full name? what about 'bilbaby'?" she questions, making quotes around the pet name.
"never mind that, what's this?" I share my screen and it shows the post I had seen on Instagram. she squints her eyes, acting like she couldn't see.
"Billie stop acting dumb, the phone is right in front of your face dont fucking play with me right now."
I warn, actually starting to get upset. "Okay okay, my bad bae. that's me and two fans. I'm not gonna lie to you, they was kinda flirting with me." I narrow my eyes and look at her. She opens her eyes widely, revealing her baby blue eyes.
"okay, then who was that girl you was hanging with?" I ask. I didnt know she was hanging with someone, I wanted to catch her up to see if she was cheating.
"who..?"
she gives me a questioning look. I smirk but also feel a little guilty for even trying to accuse her of cheating.
"what's the matter? why you look like that?"
"i-.. I thought you were cheating on me."
I admit, picking at my nails. it was quiet until she cleared her throat. "baby, look at me." I disobey and ignore her. "you know I'm not gonna tell you again girl"
I look up at her through the screen, giving puppy eyes. "you know I wouldn't cheat on you, right? I love you, and you're the only girl out here for me. I want you."
I smile and look down, flustered. I mumble a 'I love you' back to her, causing her to smile and flip her hair.
"oh babe, I have something for you when I come back from tour. you're gonna love it."
Billie says, showing her full face. I pop my head up again, scrunching my face up. "gift- for me? No Billie, you don't have to buy any thing for-"
"ah-ah, I don't have to but I want to. I have to go, but I'll be back soon. i love you." We have a little argument about who loves each other most until she actually had to leave. I sigh as I set the phone down and sit back in bed.
i really thought my girlfriend was cheating.
I laugh to myself and shake it off, going to the bathroom. Right before I close the door, my phone starts to go off with multiple notifications. I walk back to the bed and grab my phone.
"Singer Billie eilish with her new girl?"
"Billie eilish caught in public with another woman while on tour."
"Famous, Billie Eilish caught kissing another girl. Could she have a new girlfriend?"
my eyes begin to water as my worst nightmare comes true. she was cheating on me. I go back to my contacts and press on billies name.
