I woke up with the sun shining in my face. What a surprise, Quinton was up first. Today we planned on going on a tour to Stonehenge. It's a popular spot and it is exciting to see! It's only about 90 miles, so it'll take an hour and a half bus ride to get there, but it'll be fun!
"Quinton, can you book our group while I take a shower real fast?" I told him, picking up my towel.
"Sure, I got it." He replied.
I took a fast shower, considering I was so excited. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and did the daily needs. Today, I'm going to wear my white ruffle shirt with my light beige overalls. I waved my hair and tied a small white ribbon into a bow in it. I quickly grabbed a light jacket just in case it got colder.
"Our group goes at two this afternoon. It's eight thirty right now, so we have time." Quinton said as I entered the bedroom.
"Okay, well, let's go to the closest coffee brewery to get some coffee and hot chocolate." I quickly announced. He nodded and grabbed my tiny bag for me.
We walked down a new street to get to Pop's Coffee. It was a new shop it looked like and it was very small. I got my hot chocolate and Quinton got his usual coffee. The day went by fast, after we'd gotten our drinks we had gone back to the hotel room, and we relaxed until our bus ride to Stonehenge. When we went to Stonehenge, we took lots of pictures together. It was a nice, bright day, so we stayed for a few hours before the bus took us back to where we started. You weren't able to get too close to the stones, but we did take some nice pictures as far as we could get to it. The week went by in a flash, I went back to the library every day to see Nella, and to be honest, I didn't want to leave her, after all we even had gone out for coffee together twice. She's twenty-two, around where I guessed, but she's really nice. She said she was planning a trip somewhere for the next week, which was such a surprise when I realized she was planning on going to Rome as well! She said she had needed a break from the library and wanted to go somewhere where there is a lot of history, after all, I learned she loved greek mythology and history. She had a younger brother, who she was planning to have him stay with his friend for a week, but she knew she could trust him, he was fourteen anyways. It was our last day in London, so I had to say farewell to Nella sadly. I walked over to the library once again.
"Welcome back! Last day here, what a shame." She said as I opened the door.
I ran and gave her a hug.
"I hope to see you in Rome!" I said with a laugh.
I had never had such a coincidence like that to ever happen, but I think it was really exciting anyways, after all, Nella was now a friend. She nodded, and placed a book on a shelf.
"If you want, I can drive you and Quinton to the airport, I get on a break soon anyways," Nella exclaimed, pushing the book cart back behind the desk.
I nodded and thanked her.
"I'll wait in the front of your hotel, okay?" I nodded and rushed out the door.
I hoped that Quinton had finished packing by now.
Thankfully, he was already packed and ready to go.
"Nella's going to drive us to the airport, we have to meet her down at the front doors soon." I exclaimed picking up my backpack.
He laughed, "Okay, okay, calm down. I got you a mini cherry pie, so if you are hungry you can eat it."
I drew the blinds back like they were when we arrived. We walked back down to the hotel lobby, it was quiet, and I was quite sad. Nella was waiting for us at the door like she said. Quinton sat in the front passenger seat, whilst I sat in the back.
"Thanks Nella for the ride, it means a lot." Quinton said.
"No problem, I hope to see you two when I go to Rome, but I'm not sure when I'll get off of work." Nella said sadly.
Once we arrived at the airport I gave Nella forty dollars, and twenty for the drive.
"What's this for, no need to pay me!" She exclaimed.
"Thanks for helping me out, and for driving me here." I said, smiling.
I quickly gave her a big hug, and even Quinton gave her a hug, which was surprising since he didn't give out many hugs to people. Right as I walked away with my suitcase, Nella ran up again.
"Here, take this!" she exclaimed, giving me a book.
She went back to her car and drove off, waving. I looked down at the book and realized she had given me her phone number on a piece of paper inside. My heart embraced her actions, she was just so kind. We entered the airport for another very long adventure that would await at the other end.
The plane landed before I knew it, I guess I had fallen asleep. Quinton had woken me up and I quickly packed up my backpack. We had checked our bags, so we went to the baggage claim. It took like twenty minutes to find our bags, the baggage claim took forever to even get started. It was around nine thirty at night here, so we went and got some Italian pizza, which was the best pizza I had ever had. We headed to the hotel, I was pretty tired since planes make me tired after walking for long distances across the airport. I fell asleep in my clothes again.
