Chapter 2 - Blushing Yuri

Hinata woke up with a bad headache, her face felt sticky and heavy. She got up and looked in the bathroom to see her face unusually pale while her nose and eyes were red and puffy.

The short redhead washed her face while she hugged herself. A voice in her head started to talk. She tried fighting back.

'Disappointment'

N- no I'm not.

'He never loved you'

No! He did love me?

'Then why'd he cheat?'

He fell out of love?

'Clueless girl'

'Slut'

I'm not one! I'm still a virgin and dress modest!

Hinata didn't realize that she was having a panic attack during her internal conversation. Yuri walked in the room to see Hinata on the floor, breathing irregular and clawing at her arms.

Yuri scooped the girl into his arms while rubbing her back.

Yuri was salty and mean to others but he had a soft spot for the girl in his arms. He was the one to find her after being beaten by her own father.

Hinata's mother died when she was younger, murdered in a mall shooting. Their father went mental from grief and started abusing his two children because they looked like his wife.

Hinata looked the most similar to her with her long orange hair and brown eyes. There mother was a bit more curvy, well not anymore saying Hinata's filled out throughout the years. Not that he looked or anything.

Hinata calmed down and clung to the blonde.

Hinata soon passed out in his arms, Yuuri brought the small girl out of the locker room. He saw Kenma, another one of Hinata's close friends from her old middle school in Tokyo.

Hinata and Lev had gone to the same middle school in Tokyo, Teiko Middle School. It was commonly known for their harsh sports and academic program.

The school didn't have a volleyball team so Hinata had focused on Ice Skating more at that time while Lev was on the track team and the men's basketball team second string.

Kenma rushed over to the two and checked on the girl in Yuri's arms. Kenma didn't realize he was making a certain blond blush because his hair was pulled back in a ponytail showing off more of his face.
