(Here, have some cringy art from when I was in 7th grade)
The time has come to announce the winners of this 300 follower challenge!
Seriously, this has been amazing to see each and every one of you participate in this event, and I can't thank you all enough.
Now, onto how I judged.
I judged on three different categories; whether or not you took this challenge to the fullest of its extent, whether you chose to dapple with shading and lighting (my standards will obviously be lowered for traditional pieces), and where they started. And by that, I am going to look back at your earliest art work to see how you've improved.
To start us off we have our honorable mentions that will go in order of when they appear in my camera roll.
These two beautiful works were made by the one, the only, SeashoreShips.
I really like the smoothness of the line art on the hair and faces, so it makes me see the care that was put into those two areas and it shows. I also like the small details, like the etchings on Ukraine and the mixing of Ireland's flag on his artwork.
This astonishing artwork was created by Paleraven16.
I love that you gave the clothes a life-like quality to them by having them fall more loosely around Estonia. That is something that I have seen many artists struggle with, and I am happy to see that you have overcome that. And cans we just talk about that hand for a minute? It is gorgeous.
