The Price of Power

White hot pain was just about the only thing Midoriya Izuku's body processed at the moment, as the pure awesome power of his quirk working at full steam tore it apart before it was rewound back to the moment it was fine, before repeating, the only way to win this fight was through this method, one the greenette didn't like at all but had to go through with. He was almost there, the light at the end of the tunnel.

'God, it's so hard to move with everything hurting so bad, I can't even twitch my finger without my entire body feeling a stab of pain!'  Frantic thoughts spun through the mind of the airborne hero Deku, energy flush all around him as he tried to power through one of his toughest fights yet. 

After the initial smash that sent Overhaul into the sky, Izuku felt good... Well good about his chances, all his nerve endings were screaming at everything he did, but through sheer willpower the super greenette pushed through and launched himself into the sky. If he could just ignore the pain for a little longer than everything would be fine. He would definitely save the little girl on his back, he just has to keep going. 

In the back of his mind, Izuku was amazed at the pure force he could throw out, just being able to kick out his leg sent him flying, so theoretically he could stay airborne as long as he wanted while in this form, along with the asinine speed boost he got, the ninth holder was flickering through the skys, each step accompanied with a sonic boom. Though as much as he was enjoying the freedom of the skys, his body was on fire as Eri's quirk was starting to get stronger, rewinding him faster than he was currently breaking himself. The solution, constant movement by wiggling his toes and fingers even though it hurt like a bitch to do. 

In the corner of his eye, the first year student saw overhaul reconfigure his from yet again. Clicking his tongue the greenette dashed to his opponent, the pure force sent him through a chunk of the floating mass, disintegrating it with the pure pressure his charge put out. A fresh wave of pain shot through Izuku, 'I can't do this for much longer, I need to end this soon or there are going to be issues!' His body's protests were starting to catch up to him, the edge of his vision getting darker, quickly he slapped both of his cheeks, the sound echoed through the sky like a gunshot, causing the poor girl on his back to flinch. 

The hero in training slightly turned his head to the girl on his back, who was trembling and clutched onto him, tears pouring out her eyes. The girls horn was thrumming with golden power as her wide crimson eyes locked with his sparking emerald, he smiled at her, "It's okay Eri, do you know why?" he questioned, his smile grew when she shook her head, "Because I AM HERE! So dry those tears and let's put an end to the bad man, Yeah?" his voice gained such a power for that moment, the words hit the girls heart and lessened her fear just a little. The child raised and arm and dried her tears on the dirty bandages wrapped around her arm, when she lowered it her eyes were wide open, a fire in them that gave Izuku another bout of strength. 

Though the girl didn't smile her mouth twitched as she nodded to him, the boy noticed her power evened out for now, 'Good' his mind calmed as he turned to his enemy in the sky, who had just about finished rebuilding himself a large pair of arms and legs. Overhauls eyes were wide and manic as he screeched.

"STAY OUT OF MY WAY!"

In a fraction of a second Izuku shot forward, flickering out of existence as he passed through his enemy once more, disintegrating the arm that was meant to turn him into a fine bloody mist. The boy appeared in the sky, back turned as he flew. A single thought crossed the boys mind, 'Time to test a theory' as his power thrummed throughout his aching body.
