Blossoming Friendship

~ Felix's POV ~

I couldn't believe it, it was right in front of me! How?! I looked at the creature it didn't look right something was wrong.

I then saw that his paw was broken, I looked around to see what might have caused it there was nothing, no people, no other creatures. I picked the wolf up and carried it home..

I stood outside the front door, I can't just walk in. My mother and father are in. For some reason my dad never liked wolf's I'm not sure why my mum didn't really care.

I thought about it carefully and carefully went round the back way unlocking the gate and strolling through I looked through the window, there were no sign of mother or father.

I then unlocked the back door  sneaking in, I went straight towards the medicine cabinet and grabbed a cast I sneaked upstairs.

I figured I should let him stay as the creature is not stable out there, especially at night. But if my parents find it I'm screwed.

The wolf came close and cuddled making a fuss, it looked up at me with those puppy dog eyes....

"You can stay with me until you want to leave." I smiled and stroked the wolf I looked down at his neck to see if the creature had a name tag.

Luckily on it, it said; Ryan i turned the tag around but I couldn't see a name or address of the owner. I decided "You can live with me if you want to. I'll ask my mother if she says no I'll keep you anyway."

Ryan nodded. I went downstairs and peaked round the corner to see my mother thankfully sitting on the sofa by herself. I walked in front of her "Mother...", "Yes Felix?" She said

Felix; "I found a wolf with a wounded paw while I was walking home...is it okay I..if I keep it?"

Mother; "Okay but try not to let your father know"

Felix; "I'll try my best"

Mother; "What's its name,no owner ?"

Felix;"No owner, his names Ryan"

Mother;"okay"

I went up to bed, pulled the covers over me and cuddled close to Ryan.
