"Shrek-kun wait," Shaq-chan shouted out. "I
h-have something to tell you."
Shrek looked confused and answered Shaq-chan. "What is it Shaq-chan?" She squirmed under his gaze. It had been a nice springs day and the cherry blossoms fell slowly before them.
Stuck at the gates of the school, Shaq-chan waited for the rest of the students to leave so it would be just her and Sherk. "Well I," she breathed in deeply, "I'vehadthebiggestcrushonyousinceourfirstyear!" She shouted hastily. Her eyes scrunched closed and head bowed, she hesitantly looked up at Shrek-kun. Shrek looked at her in awe. Had his ears been deceived? He had to make sure that he hadn't been fooled. A dusty pink shadowed his face.
"Shaq-chan...what was that?"
"NOTHING- JUST TAKE THIS!" She hastily shoved a heart printed letter into Shrek-kuns hands and dashed away. "Ah- SHAQ WAIT!"
He quickly followed suit for her, but as he neared her he tripped on a rock, causing him to crash into her. They laid there, bodies molded together, as their heads were next to each other; lips centimeters away.
"I like you too," said Shrek-kun. He pushed their lips together, and fireworks ignited in them both.
