Being an angel isn't that bad. Every now and again, the head angel will assign others to work in the human world. It sounds like great fun, but I'm only an angel in training. No one wants me for anything....
I see Ms.Halo in the clearing, that's the head angel's name, she strolls up to me saying "All of our angles are busy and I was wondering if you could do a little job for me. I want you to go and work in the human world for a while."
I looked at her with horror, gasping for air "Me?? But I err....umm...."
Before I could finish she cut in "I will see you Monday morning in my office, no later than 7:00 am."
Before I could say anything, Ms.Halo waved goodbye and walked away.
Monday soon flew bye. I arrived at Ms.Halo's office at 7:00am sharp. I walked into her office with butterflies in my stomach. I clenched my fists tight and crept inside. Ms.Halo stood there looking at me sternly. She folded her arms and raised her eyebrow "do you think this is acceptable?!"
I didn't know what she was talking about so I shrugged my shoulders.
"You are 2 mins late!"I stood there looking at Ms.Halo like she was a crazy person who had just been released from a mental institution. "But Ms.Halo, I was more or less on time."
She glared at me "I was more or less or time" she said in a sarcastic tone.
She glanced at the papers that she had in her hand. The papers had all the details of the human I had to watch over.
In the top right corner it had a picture of a girl called 'Alice Cassidy'. She had deep brown eyes and ringlets of dark brown hair. She had little dimples on both sides of her cheeks. Ms.Halo handed me the papers and told me not to lose them. She shoved me into a machine known as 'the teleporter'.
Ms.Halo slammed the door shut and pressed a big red button. I was sent down to earth in a flash of lightning. What adventures were awaiting me?...
