The Ship

31 2 1

The ship rocks smoothly back and forth
The salt water sprays around its portholes
Seagulls fly overhead in search of shelter
Fish swim deep in to the abyss
For a moment all was still
Then it came
A raging black monster forms overhead
Blowing winds that can topple mountains
Its lightning whip, lashes at the sea
With it's booming voice it commands the sea
The sea obeys it's master's whip and voice
The sea rocks the ship violently
Thrashing it around, throwing it everywhere
Against the rocks and against its self
The ships masts snap like twigs
With hope about to die
Everything becomes peaceful yet again
The gulls return
The fish swim back
The storm has left
And the sea has it's mind yet again
