No one really understands power of the earth. If it hasnt been proven then it doesnt suggest its false. Is there such things as magic, supernatural.....curses. Things we can't understand and never will.

November. That month of the year where winter is begining to creep up on the grey country of Britain. Already the wind was bitter, freezing every detail on your face as you tried to walk through it. We couldn't care less about it. Nothing could upset us now. We were FINALLY together after about a year of awkward flirting, he eventually asked me. Of course i'd said yes.....or else this story wouldnt be told.....

I could tell he was insecure from the first glance I gave him; those big hazel eyes, curly mass of hair and warm heart soon stole me. Before i'd known it, I had fallen in love this man. His name: Brian May.

It's been three months now. Our relationship getting stronger by the day.

"Brian, are you sure its ok....?" I asked, moving slowly towards him.

"Darling, trust me. They wont bite you unless you frighten them" he smiled, stroking the small, black and white fluff ball that had so carelessly climbed onto his lap as he sat up against the oak.

Cautiously, I sat down beside him. I giggled as a badger began to nuzzle at my leg, carefully stroking its soft fur.

"How are they so calm around you?"

He giggled and picked up the fluff ball from under its paws, placing it on my lap. He spoke. "Ummm well, Im not that good at...making friends. I get shy....but I get on alot better with these little guys." He looked over the bunch of badgers that had seemed to increased scince we'd sat down.

"Dont tell me you named them" I chuckled slightly.

"Well theres....Harry, Robert, Percy, Jim, Jim Jr, Pixie, Flower, Thumper......." He inhaled, "Digger, Squeaky, Spade aaand that little one is April, born about a week ago" he beamed proudly, scratching her behind the ear.

"Awwwww, thats so adorable" I kissed his cheek softly.

I nevet realised how quickly time went unil I saw the red and pink sky appearing, showing sign of night falling. I looked at Brian and snuggled up to his side, linking my arms with mine. "It'll be dark soon....but I could stay here with you all night!" I sighed, smiling and closing my eyes. He jumped to his feet, begining to back away from me. "I.....I....have to go....." He stuttered.

"Why?...I thought you liked looking at the stars and the moon?" I asked with disappointment in my voice. He shivered.

"I...I....I just remembered...I dont feel well.....Im sorry! I have to go! I'll.....see you on.....Friday........!"  And with that he ran away down the street, leaving me by the tree on my own. Every badger had gone and the sound of other students, getting ready to live their night-lives. Personally, I didnt have one. All my friends had moved to on to diffrent places. I only stayed because I loved Brian so much!

I decided if it was best If I just went home, buttoning up my coat as the nights winter chills began to blow.

As I knew, groups of students were walking around sounding already drunk. It was when I made it to the end of the street that my name was called. I turned to face the voice. It was a girl and a group stood behind her like a gang.

"Hey!" She called as I turned.

"What?"

"You're that girl arent you?!"

"That girl?"

"Yeah! The girlfriend of that nut job who talks to badgers!" She chuckled.

I got a little angry. "He's not a "nut job"!"

"Ooooh ok right....the freak, weirdo, lunatic! And if your the girlfriend then you must be as mental!" She blurted, the whole group laughed behind her.

"Leave him alone! Leave us alone!"

"Hey Guys! Come here!" She called to more groups as they passed. They all joined the gathering. "This is the lunatics girlfriend!"

They all laughed once more. One man spoke up. "I see he's not here! Scared of the dark!! He's scared of the moon!"

"What?" I asked confused.

"Its the joke we played on him scince he was little!" They all laughed continuously. "You must be as mad as him to even br near him! But to be his partner!" They all left after that, still in stitches of laughter. Leaving me confused and alone at the end of the street.

I attempted to ignore it. Blocking it straight out of my mind as the days went by. He was definately NOT a lunatic!

Then Friday came....
