James' POV

"Hey what do you feel about Annabeth's boyfriend?" May asked as we walked together towards our lockers

"Hmm I think its early to judge but I feel like he is a good guy. Since he looked like a jock I almost expected him to be cocky and rude but he was actually quiet kind and funny, I can see why Annabeth likes him" I said as i remembered the wide smile Annabeth had when she saw Percy

"I know right! they look so cute together, Like a pair made in heaven." May said smiling brightly 

I grinned back and replied "We're a pair made in heaven too" 

She pecked my cheek and said "I know, I am so lucky to find someone like you James"

"Me too" I said giving her a sweet smile before taking my books 

"Hey guys!" a familiar voice said and we both turned to see Annabeth walking towards us with a bright smile etched on her face

Ok so this is weird, the only time I've seen her this perky was whenever they had holidays and she

"Hi there! You look so cheerful this morning, did anything good happen or what?" May asked raising her eyebrows playfully 

"No I am just happy" She chirped in while snuggling into the over grown blue hoodie she was wearing

"Why do you have a Goode swim team hoodie?" I asked curiously when I saw the label on the front of the hoodie

"Oh this is Percy's, he was the swim team captain there in Goode" She said casually and true to her words the name 'JACKSON' was printed on the back. 

"Ahh Really? Then he should compete in the selections this year for our swim team captaincy too" May said looking surprised

"Oh yeah but I bet its going to be hard to win against Adrian" I said sympathetically

Poor Percy won't be able to win against Adrian, I hope Annabeth won't be disappointed when he doesn't get the captaincy. 

But the next question Annabeth asked surprised me the most 

"Who in the name of Zeus is this Adrian guy?" Annabeth asked confused

May gasped and replied "Annabeth this is not something to joke about" 

Annabeth raised an eyebrow sternly and said "Do I look like I am joking?"

"God, Annabeth he is the most popular jock of our school and he is also the son of the richest business man in this world"
