Eve's POV
She turned back, making eye contact with Villanelle for a moment and then watched as the tall blonde walked away. She stood, not knowing what to do until she began to walk home. At home, she found that she needed to go food shopping since there wasn't enough food to make even a simple meal; Niko's parents must have taken everything to Poland when they came to get his things. Fortunately for Eve, they had an agreement for her to keep the house if they were to split up. At the supermarket, she bought a lot, but nothing could take her mind from Villanelle. When she got back home, she took out her phone and tapped in a few numbers...
Villanelle's POV
As she walked around London, she visited multiple shops before it began to get late. Although she turned back to Eve, she knew to resist the urge to run and grab her so she ended up buying clothes to try to get over it. It did not work and she still regretted walking away but she knew that it would be best for Eve to come back in her own time. Suddenly, her phone rang and when she took out her phone the name that appeared on the screen gave her butterflies - 'Eve🥺🥰😍😘💖💕'.

"Hello? Eve? Did something happen?"
"No, I'm fine. Well not completely. Where are you right now?"
"I'm shopping. Why?"
"This is gonna sound weird but meet me asap."
"Where Eve?"
"I just sent you my location, see you there!"
"WAIT!"
The call ended. Villanelle opened up the location immediately, following the map on her phone as quick as she could. After 15 minutes, she arrived outside of a restaurant and smiled when Eve ran up to her, and grabbed her face. "Look, V. I know that we said all that stuff on the bridge, but, I need you. I never stop thinking about and unless you murder me, I don't think I ever will. So, maybe we can work somethi-". Villanelle kissed Eve, cutting off her last sentence. "I knew you'd call me sooner or later, I mean, I'm beautiful."
"Yes, you really are. But are we gonna go in and order something or do you just want to stand here staring at me. Actually, don't answer that, I know what you're like. Come on!"
The restaurant was just as pretty inside as it was outside. They waited in a small line of about 5 people for a table. Of course, Villanelle got bored of waiting and started running her fingers through Eve's thick, curly hair. When they sat down, they both looked at the menus. Eve ordered a cheese and tomato toastie with a drink of red wine and Villanelle ordered the mushroom and ham tagliatelle pasta with a drink of wine too. "So, you really like me huh?"
"Of course, well, I think maybe, I..."
"You, what? I cannot read your mind Eve". She smirked knowing what Eve was about to say.
"It's stupid, but I think I love you." There was a silence as the waiter brought their food over and when he left, the two women continued. "Eve, you're not stupid. I'm the stupid one. I should have left you to live your life, you were happy with Niko."
"Actually, no I wasn't. Everything with Niko was what I was brought up to know but this, right here, right now. This is what I want." A tear escaped Eve's eye as she began to eat. "Mmm, this is delicious!"
"So is this!" She looked up at Eve, wiping her cheek for her.
Once they had finished their food, Eve showed Villanelle the way to her house. It was only a 5 minute walk but by the time they got there, they were both extremely tired. Eve locked the door behind them and gave Villanelle a kiss. "Go shower, you can borrow something to wear for tonight if you want."
