Chapter 6

• Saint's POV continuation •
I woke up and put on my slippers. I went to the bathroom to wash my face and brushed my teeth. I yawned and walked downstairs.
"Good morning mother." I smiled as I saw her cook.
"Good morning Saint! How'd you sleep dear?" She asked smiling back.
"I slept well, I hope you did as well."
"Yes, I certainly did. Are you going to do anything fun today?" She asked.
"Yes! I'm going to the movies today with my friends." I smiled.
"A movie with your friends?" My mother asked as she was shock.
"Yes." I smiled.
"I'm so so glad that you found some friends." My mother smiled and gave me a hug.
I hugged back and smiled widely.
"Mom, to make sure of things. You're not disappointed, are you?" I asked.
"If you're talking about yesterday, no. I'm not disappointed, I'm happy that you told me." She smiled.
The feeling of discomfort in my heart had faded away, making me doubt my own mother for this feeling of mine. Making me foolish of myself, I was ashamed but relieved and happy that I had told my mother and have someone that I actually liked. How can such a boy be so magnificent. He's such a beauty of life as others would say about their lovers or crushes. I blushed at the thought of dating him but knowing it won't be true.
"Saint honey, please eat." Mother waved her hands across my face as I snapped back to reality.
"Ah, thank you for the meal!" I smiled and started to eat my meal.
"What is this flavor? I've never tried it." I told my mom.
"I wanted to make something special today so I made banana bread." She smiled.
"Awe, it's delicious! I love it!" I smiled, eating it happily.
Mother smiled as she also ate too.
"So, how did you two meet?" Mother asked.
I looked up at her, shocked to see that she was asking.
"I met him on the sidewalk. Long story short, we accidentally got into an accident together." I laughed nervously.
"Accident?" She asked, shocked.
"Yes, a car was coming near him and he moved but without realizing, he had crashed into me. I told him I was okay but he refused to believe me so I went to the infirmary with him." I continued.
"Oh. He sure knows what to do at the situation." She said, not knowing what to say.
"I'm glad you are alright and had it checked it." She said.
"Why didn't you tell me about this?" She asked.
"Well, I was scared to tell you because then I'd have to go to the hospital and check everything out and so on, but most of all, I didn't want to worry you. Besides I'm in college now, I can take care of myself." I told her.
"Hm, you're right but still. Tell me if this ever happens again." She sighed.
"Yes mother."
"Are you done?" She asked, breaking the silence.
"Yes."
She grabbed my plates and washed the dishes. I got a rag from the counter and wiped the table.
"Go get ready. You have a movie to catch up too." Mother smiled at me.
"Thank you! I'll see you later Mom!" I smiled.
I gave her a kiss on the cheeks and ran up to my room. I looked in my closet, looking for clothes that would be good for a movie. I didn't have any causal clothes for the movies so I went downstairs and told mom that I was going to shop for some clothes and walked out the doors with my keys. I arrived at the store and walked in.
"Welcome Sir." A lady spoke, bowing.
"Hello." I bowed back.
I walked ahead and searched for clothes. I didn't know what had suited me and what the theme would be for the movies so I searched it up, looking for regular clothes. I found some black jeans and a black and white causal T-Shirt. I got them and tried it on. It had fitted me perfectly. I looked for some more clothes and went to the cashier and walked out.
"Come again Sir." The women bowed.
I bowed back before leaving. I drove home and checked the time, it was 3 pm now. I had some time to spare so I took a quick shower and wore black jeans with a black shirt and also wore a black hoodie. I checked the time again and it was 5:30 pm. I sprayed some cologne on me and walked away from my room.
"I'm going now mom! Bye!" I said before leaving.
"Okay Honey! Get there safe!" She responded back.
I put on my shoes and walked out the door.
