chapter six: juggling video games and my soon to be wife

to catch you up on what you missed: i am now 18!! i am legal! zack wanted to plan me a party so he could be a good future husband which he is! he somehow got blink 182 to play. apparently they were on the cruise anyway i even got a photo with the band!

zack's pov:

i was in the aqua lounge writing my speech for when i plan to propose to sam when cody came up to us. "so, big change on someone's online profile" cody says coming over and sitting with us. i looked at my brother. "you saw i got my 10th friend? double digits baby!" woody says happily. "yeah. it's nice that your grandma finally accepted your friend request" cody says sarcastically. "actually it was my mum. nana still pending" woody says as i continued writing what i'm going to say. "i'm talking about what london posted: 'i'm jealous of sister, she's got a guy who's totally in love'. you know what this means zack?" cody asked "yeah sammy's really into me. can you blame her?" i said, not looking up and still writing. this speech has to be perfect. 

"no. you gotta tell her if you're ready for it" cody says, sitting next to me. is he serious? "no i don't. not yet anyway. it's smooth sailing from here" i tell him. "ha! smooth sailing just like the titanic" cody says. i stop writing the most important speech ever. i'm this eager to write something that's not school work? "you have no idea how much work it takes to keep a relationship with a girl" cody says. he's seriously making up shit? "i have been dating the same girl for 2 years and i wanna marry her. you, broke up with a girl in paris on your 1 year anniversary. i think i know what it's like to be in a relationship with a girl better than you" i tell him.

"well, they always make you put her first" cody says. "not mine" i reply. "suddenly what you want doesn't matter anymore. when we started dating, bailey made me join her stupid quilting circle" cody says. "you were in that before she was" woody said as i chuckle. "whatever. my point is-" woody cut cody off again. "actually didn't you start the quilting circle?" woody says which made me laugh. "my point is... you're going to have to change my friend" cody tells me. "no i am not going to change for sam. she loves me the way i am and i do for her" i tell cody as i picked up my pen and continued writing. cody laughed and left. "what does cody know about women? other than he's a pedicure away from being one?" i asked woody/

"so does that mean you've changed your mind and not ready for the marriage life?" woody asked "why would i change my mind? i've cleaned out 3 drawers for her, i've pushed marcus's old bed next to mine so it's like a double bed and we can sleep together, i put her first even though she doesn't want me too. what more can I do?" i asked "hey zack" sam says coming over so i quickly hid the paper. "did you see my message?" she asked, sitting next to me on her legs. "yes" i lied. i haven't checked my phone. "sooo" sam says. "so, i think it's amazing" i lie. "you didn't see it did you?" sam asks chuckling and shaking her head.
