Melo

What's funnier than fucking with ya girl while she washing dishes? Absolutely nothing lol.

I kept putting random dishes in the sink and Jordan got mad. Then I did it again and she sprayed me with the hose. I just laughed as she went back to doing what she was doing.

I put a big ass pot in there and she turned the faucet off, walking away.

"Aye, come here." I chuckle, grabbing her wrist.

"What?" She responds, over me at this point.

"You know I'm just fucking with you." I purse my lips to stop smiling.

She narrowed her eyes at me. I smile anyway, wrapping my arms around her waist and hugging her to me. I pull back a bit to look down at her.

"Mmm." I pucker my lips.

She kisses me and I let her go. She goes back to doing what she was doing and I stand against the counter watching her.

When she finally finished, because I helped very little, I took her upstairs to my room. She collapses onto my bed, staring up at the ceiling.

"Classes are almost done. Are you excited about that?" I ask her, putting my phone on the charger.

"Yeah." She answers.

I nod, watching her sit up.

"Then I have to go right back in August." She rolls her eyes. "Take classes virtually, like I'm doing right now, then train and prepare for the season."

"Do you guys have your schedule yet?" I ask.

She shakes her head no.

"Any word on how the school year is going to work?" I ask her.

"All I know so far is that I have to go back. The Men's and Women's Basketball teams. I can't really speak for the other sports." She replied.

I frown. "You really have to go back?"

She giggles. "Yes Melo, I do."

I don't want her to. I literally just got her back, and now you're telling me she has to leave again? What are the odds?

"What's wrong?" She asks me.

I shake my head. "Don't worry about it."

"Melo, that only makes me worry more." She said.

"It's nothing really. Just wishful thinking." I mumble.

"Then it is something." She said. "Talk to me B."

I give her a half smile so she doesn't keep worrying. I walk over to her and give her a kiss.

"It's fine." I pat her thigh. "Seriously."

She narrows her eyes at me and I laugh.

"You better stop looking at me like that." I say, still laughing a bit.

"I'm doing it because you think it's okay to sugarcoat how you're feeling." She said.

Y'all heard me tell her not to worry right? Oh okay.

"I'm always honest with you though." I say.

"Okay then, tell me what's the problem?" She pushed.

I don't want her to get mad at me, and I don't want the situation to turn into something it shouldn't be. That's why I didn't want to tell her what I was initially thinking. Her persistency can sometimes be encouraging and annoying.
