Final Story: Goodbye, 'A' High School

Epilogue

Sometime in 2032...

So what are the colourful cast of characters doing ten years after the demolishment of 'A' High School?

From the First Story:

Bình is currently a doctor, working at L'Hôpital Français De Hanoï alongside world-renowned French and Vietnamese physicians after graduation from university and residency in Ho Chi Minh City. He is also contributing to the research of vaccines against deadly diseases.

Hương is also working as a doctor in the same hospital as Bình. She is working on her PhD thesis on cancer treatment. Bình and Hương are happily married and they have two children. The family now lives in a bustling neighbourhood of Hanoi, where they would be happy to see their children grow up into fine adults.

Linh is now an IT analyst and working for a prominent South Korean conglomerate at one of their branches in Ho Chi Minh City. She is engaged to a handsome, intelligent, and kind actor, whom she describes as "the man of her dreams."

From the Second Story:

Mai is travelling around the world with her fiancé Hoàng. She has accepted a job offer in New York as a fashion designer and will start work there as soon as the young couple finishes their journey.

Hoàng obtained his PhD in Engineering and will also begin work as a lecturer and researcher at New York University. The couple intends to obtain US citizenship and live there for the rest of their lives.

Châu Anh currently works as a UN humanitarian worker, travelling to war-torn regions and helping the less fortunate. She is single but has her eyes on a male colleague. Her current mission puts her in Afghanistan. She has been under fire and found herself in dangerous situations, but always came out safe and sound.

Thảo finished her PhD studies in Moscow and lives there with her husband at the moment. She works as an attaché of Vietnam to Russia, usually acting as the advisor and counsellor for the Vietnamese ambassador.

Mr Sơn, the ruthless and cold-blooded killer, was executed after the trial which took place only six months after the events of the Second Story. It is unclear where the rest of his family is. Perhaps they are living under a different name out of shame.

From the Third Story:

Nam is now a successful comedian who has appeared in many live shows and on TV. He is extremely busy with his gigs, which often require him to travel all around Vietnam. He is married to Vân, who is now a beautiful singer and has one child.

Vân considers herself lucky to be a famous singer in Vietnam. She, like her husband Nam, is also busy with shows and performances. Her latest appearance on TV was when she was a judge of a singing competition.

Xuân currently works for Samsung as a product and manufacturing engineer. She is in charge of the production of the latest line of smart devices in the neighbouring provinces around Hanoi. She is wed to Thành, and the couple has two energetic girls.

Thành has joined the People's Army of Vietnam and has become an extremely charming Major who is now in command of his own unit, which is stationed in the capital city. He and his wife Xuân, along with their children, currently reside in Long Biên District.

From the Fourth Story:

François now holds the rank of Captain within GIGN forces stationed in Versailles-Satory. His remarkable rise to this position was attributed to his experiences in Vietnam and his father's influence on his work ethics. He is married to his childhood sweetheart, Thérèse, and lives with her in a small and quiet commune called Porchefontaine, just to the South-West of Paris.
