Chapter 12

Adrien's POV

Its been two months since I lost my baby and things have not been going great with Luka and I. What exactly have I been doing wrong? I'm getting better. What's wrong then?

*cue ringtone*

"Hello?"

"Hey babes, how you doing?"

"Honestly Plagg, I don't know."

"You wanna meet up and talk about it?"

"Yeah, I'd like that."

"I'll meet you at our favorite cafe in 30 minutes okay?"

"Okay, I'll see you then."

At the cafe 30 minutes later

"Are you okay? I know it must be hard with the whole baby." Plagg said in concern.

"I'm okay. Amazingly I have learned how to cope and deal with everything. I've accepted the fact that it wasn't my fault."

"The what's the problem, babe?"

"Its Luka. He's been so distant. He leaves early in the morning and comes back late in the evening. He hardly talks to me. Even Emit's starting to notice the change in his daddy's attitude."

"Maybe that's he's way of coping."

"Well he needs to remember that we're in this together. We have a son who has no idea what is going on. We have to be strong and continue to make our home a happy one for him."

"You need to talk to him then."

"I really should cause we can't continue like this."

"Everything is going to fine Adri. You just need to be strong and hold on."

"With the number of times I've done that, I don't know how much longer I can continue."

"Don't say that Adrien. You are one of the strongest people I've met. You always overcome even when the odds are against you. Don't let them win love."

"Thank you Plagg. I really needed that. " I told him with tears pooling I my eyes.

"Oh, come here and give me a hug."

I gave a wet laugh before we both stood up and hugged each other.

It felt so good. I really felt like everything was going to be okay. I felt my dead hope replenish. I am going to be fine. I overcome all obstacles put before and this is just one of them.

"I'm always here for you okay. Never forget that." He whispered into my ear.

"Thank you. You are an amazing friend. No one could ever replace you. I don't know what I'd do without you." I whispered back.

Plagg is honestly amazing. He's been with me through thick and thin. He's always been there to comfort and strengthen me through all my challenges. I couldn't have asked for a better friend. He's the best.

We finally broke the hug.

"Well, I have to get home. Elena will be home at any minute."

"Yeah so will Emit. How is that little troublemaker of yours?"

"Still a troublemaker and sassy as hell."

"Well she gets it from her mother."

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"Nothing, nothing at all Plagg."

"Mmmm, it better not. Anyway I'll see you bestie. Bye"

"Bye."
