the next day.

the next morning, you wake up at 10:45. you decide to hop out of the bed and go downstairs.
Once downstairs, you see mark on the couch. "he's still sleeping," you whisper to yourself.
you run down the rest of the stairs and walk across the living room, trying to be as quiet as possible. then, you hear a loud clank in the kitchen. "Where are you going," you hear a voice say in the kitchen. you walk to the kitchen to see who it is. "Um," you say quietly. "Yea. I-i need to go." "Dont leave," the man says. "I just made breakfast." You look and him and smile awkwardly. "Ok. I guess ill stay."
He turns back around to the stove and starts stirring whatever is in the pan. Then he turns around quickly. "By the way," he says, "my name is wade."
"(Y/n)."
"So, why are you here?"
"Mark invited me. Its my birthday was yesterday too."
He looks at you with wide eyes.
"Really?!"
You look at your feet. "Yea."

30 minutes later, mark gets up from the couch. once he see's you at the table with wade, he stares at you and wade for a bit. "Ah-ha," he says while pointing at you. "I knew you would stay." "Well, your friend wade stopped me and offered me breakfast," you say.
Mark looks at wade, then back at you. "Wade, do you like her," mark says. "Wha- MARK! No," wade says then looks at you. "Not in the bad way though." Wade and mark let out a chuckle. Then you let out a small giggle.

After about 20 minutes talking with mark and wade you tell them you should leave. "No," says mark. "Please stay."
"But you've done enough for me."
"But we still need to talk," says mark.
You sit at the table and think if you should stay. you dont want to leave. but you shouldnt stay. You turn and look at mark. "Ok. But make it quick."
