I just got home from school. It's Friday so it's too early for someone to be home so I have to unlock the door. As I am about to unlock the door, I see a note on my front door:
On the front it says: Giovanni.
So I turn it around and it says: Look in your bathroom.
I'm scared and nervous but excited.
I make my way to the bathroom to find a white rose and another note: Go into the kitchen
I walk over to the kitchen and find a blue rose and a note saying: Walk into your room
In my bedroom I find a yellow rose saying: Get changed into a suit and walk down to the lake, the way you usually do. Take the flowers with you.
As I'm walking down to get to the lake, along the green grass I find 6 purple rose petals in a row until I reach a purple rose, no note so I keep walking and I find 6 green rose petals in a row. I start to realize I'm almost to the lake when I pick up the green rose.
I'm still carrying all roses which looks like I'm going to give them to a girlfriend, to those who don't know I'm gay and obsessed with my gorgeous neighbour, Chase.
With the green rose I find a note saying: Meet me at the jetty
I continue walking the way to the jetty when I find 6 pink rose petals in a row, and after that a pink rose with a note saying: Roses are red, Roses are blue, Roses are yellow, Oh I have no clue
I hysterically chuckle at the note and keep walking. I then find 6 rose petals in a row; The first White, then blue, yellow, purple, green and pink like the order I have collected them in. After the petals, there is a red rose with a note saying: Look across the lake, see the lights all for sake, like the twinkle in your eyes, like you in my life.
Great, now I'm blushing. I look to the jetty, coming close and see fairy lights, lighting all of it up.
When I finally reach the jetty, I look around until I find a note saying 'Place the roses here, and go look at the lake by the rails of the jetty' So I gently place the roses down and walk over to the rails where I stand for a minute or two, taking in the beautiful scene. I then feel someone wrap their strong arms around my waist and hug me. Well thankfully it is a guy!
"Close your eyes and count to three, then turn around and look at me" This somewhat familiar voice says. In my mind I count slowly, 1... 2... 3...
I turn around slowly to find Chase, my neighbour there, holding a blue sun flower. I gawk at him; HE IS GAY?!
"Wha? Who? Huh?" I ask confused "Are you feeling okay, Chase?"
