I sat near the tree and closed my eyes to relax. Why nobody told me about him.
"Sorry." A small voice came from behind. I opened my eyes to see Amy standing there with teary eyes. "I am really sorry."
"Hey why are you sorry? Come here." She came and sat beside me. "You have done nothing to be sorry." I say to her.
"I didn't tell you who he was and avoided you." I sighed. I thought for a second.
"If it's like that then I am giving you one more chance. Tell me now why you did it?" I ask her. She finally looks up at me. I smile at her to make her relax.
"Actually, the cousin I talked to you about at first is him. And that day Liam was in a very bad mood and the alcohol made him do that to you. But he is not always like that trust me. He can be rude and all but he can never do something like that. I don't know what happened to him that day. I really don't know. I am sorry. I should've stopped him." I process all her words. He was in a bad mood but that doesn't justify his actions. And he should apologies to me, not Amy.
"Then why did you started avoiding me?" I asked her.
"You are my only friend here. I thought after knowing that he is my brother you won't talk to me. I shouldn't have done that. I am sorry." She says with regret.
"Don't think like that, I will always be your friend. I don't care if he is your brother." I hugged her and rubbed her back.
"And what about us?" Ryan and Lucas joined too making it a group hug. I laughed.
"You all are my friend too." I closed my eyes and relaxed.
A clearing of throat interrupted us. We turned and saw Liam standing there awkwardly. "If you all are done then let's go to class." He said avoiding my eyes.
"I and Lia have the same class. You all can go." Amy said. The boys nodded and left with Liam.
"What happened after I left? Did you all leave because of me?" I asked her while walking to our class.
"Yeah, pretty much. After you left, Liam also left immediately. Then Noah also left with Grace saying he was not in mood. Then Stella left saying that she needs to go class, so Austin went with her. And we three came to you." She explains. I am happy to hear that Austin kept his promise.
We did our classes and left for home.
The next day, after my classes I went straight to the diner. I peeped inside to check if the place is clear of Liam, and it was. I sigh in relief and walk inside. There was a cute boy in the counter. Brown hair with mesmerizing blue eyes.
