At that very moment, she didn't know whether or not she could trust him, since let's be honest here it's the end of the world, you have the right to go a little bit mad. Many people lost something, friends, family, their old life, their humanity. Nowadays it was trying to find food, water, shelter. The world now was what many depicted, this was our extinction event. Dinosaurs lost their lives to a Meteor many animals went extinct due to man kind, we would go extinct because of mankind as well.

(Y/n) didn't even know how Haru was able to comply so easily, maybe it was because of the fact she saved him? She had no clue, even if someone had saved her she still wouldn't be able to trust them. He practically gave himself to her in a way, he gave up his only weapon. The two used the rooftops to move as fact and safely as they could hoping to get closer to the apartment before the hoard, before she pulled him down, to duck. The (h/c) haired female pulled him close to her, as she covered his mouth with her hand, putting a finger against her lips, in order to calm him down. The blond male nodded his head, as he attempted to steady his breathing, yet he couldn't help but be embarrassed though due to the sudden closeness.
She was a woman after all, the first he's seen in months. He darted his eyes away from her in order to respect her, seeing as how she probably didn't even notice what she was doing, he tried his best to make it to where he wouldn't give her any trouble, or cause any discomfort, before the footsteps slowly went farther and farther. She looked over and saw their were merely stranded ones in the streets, she moved her hand as she helped pull him up, only know realizing how weak and malnourished he was, she wondered how long he had been like this yet shook the thought out of her head, thinking that now wasn't the time for that.
(Y/n) helped him to the last building before sliding down the ladder, making sure to keep watch for any spare walkers, since she was now aware of his rather weak state, the (e/c) eyed female felt as if she should look out for him more, well his safety. She gripped his wrist, as she brought him to the back entrance of the apartment, her (e/c) darted around being cautious before sliding the gate open. As she closed it behind the two.
He glanced around the building amazed, as she took the chance to activate the security system. While as he was amazed, it was the first time he had stopped running in weeks. Haru watched as she tapped the elevator button the light shinning as the doors opened before him. It felt unreal. While as the female leaned against the railing of the elevator, the doors soon opened up again at the condo on the top floor, and she motioned him to follow her as she sat him down in the living room. (Y/n) went ahead to grab some things for him, and ready some things, while he simply inspected his surroundings. It felt dream like, it felt new, it felt safe, it felt nice.
(Y/n) came back with some freshly folded clothes, as she called out his name, he followed her to the bathroom where their was a shower, as she placed them down for him. "Go on, don't take too long though", she said to him, as she closed the door. He smiled, as he stripped his clothing entering the shower, nice hot water, it had been months since he last showered. After that he was treated to a nice meal, and a hair cut by none other than (Y/n) herself.
After awhile she did grow to trust him and he did prove his use to her.
Turns out he was good with hands being able to start a garden with little resources on the rooftop, growing fresh produce, which was new for the both of them. Since he learned of the rooftops he found a way to connect the top of the apartment to one of the lower building which meant a new exit, and entrance for whenever they may need to use them. They pooled their ideas together in order to accomplish things the female couldn't have possibly done on her own. They started building traps, around the area of their building in order to be able to kill those crawlers without even lifting a finger, and be able to separate them from herding.
Everything was going rather smoothly until someone banged on their door. The female had these cameras that were set up all over the building, yet she really only kept tabs on the first floor, for both inside and outside. The (h/c) haired female had these cameras set up in her room as well, well on the computer screens she watched a young boy who banged on the gates of the apartment, he was drawing in crawlers only towards the back entrance. The female sighed as she shook her head, the security measures were up so it wasn't as if they or him could break in unless she were to let them.
Haru entered the room curious as to what that noise from the computers were, his eyes were widened as he saw the scene. Their was a young boy around the same age as the two of them, he was rather thin, he seemed to be decently clean, he had short light rather neat chestnut hair, and heavy violet eyes. Wearing some rather casual clothing he seemed to have no weapon on him, and he seemed to be actually panicking and terrified for his life.
"What's that?"
He asked her hoping it was some sort of movie or something. "The cameras of the building" she stated, his pink eyes widened in shock, why would she do that? Why wouldn't she go save that other being as she did the same to him? "Then why aren't we saving him come on!" He hurried her, as she shook her head it wouldn't matter, it was too late for him.
