"Jonah I really think you should call it a night," Luna spoke up. "There's a motel that comes up in five and a half miles, you should pull over." Luna pointed to a green sign on the side of the freeway.
Jonah nodded, "since this is your tenth time asking, sure Luna."
"I don't want you to overwork yourself, plus it's almost midnight. You've been driving since ten this morning."
"I've stopped for gas- we only have a couple more hours," Jonah stated, taking the exit.
"We can drive that couple more hours later, you said we'd take turns yet you already drove three quarters of the way," Luna said. "That's not fair-"
"Everyone's asleep Luna Amore, why don't-"
"You need one other person awake Jonah Marais, Corbyns dead asleep while he should be shotgunning," Luna pointed out as he pulled up to a motel.
"I'll go get the keys, you wake the rest of them up, alright?" Jonah asked, parking and immediately getting out.
Luna nodded turning to Jack who had his head rested on the window, she slowly shook his leg making him jump awake. "Sorry," she whispered sending him a small smile. "Jonah went to go get keys, he wanted me to wake everyone up and you were the closest."
Jack smiled at her, "let's have the car alarm go off. They'll be up in no time." Luna shook her head no. "I'll wake up Corbyn , you get everyone else. I want to take him on a walk so we could talk, alright?" Jack nodded watching the girl open the van door, getting out before walking to the passenger side- very slowly opening the door.
Jack then individually shook awake the two unofficial couples.
"Hey Corbyn," Luna spoke quietly shaking the boy, who slowly opened his eyes. "I made Jonah stop to get some rest."
"Where are we?" Corbyn rubbed his eyes.
"Somewhere in Utah," Luna let out a small tired laugh, "we have like eight more hours til' we get to Colorado- and I forced Jonah to take a break."
"I'll order some food when we get our room," Luna said back, looking at the small motel watching Jonah walk over. "Come on guys," Luna said, getting everyone out the car- them immediately groaning.
