Enemies or Lovers?

Giuliette pulled down her
Elegant black ball gown.
It hugged her curves perfekt and showed the right amount of skin without it being inappropriate for the cause of the night.
Her diamond earrings reflected the light in the room and sparkled just like her innocent eyes.
At least they seamed innocent..

She strapped a small Gun to her thigh just to be secure you never know what the night has to offer.
Giuliette didn't like the idea of the peace contract ending at 12.00 a clock tonight...
Of course she needed to do what's best for the family but  Giuliette couldn't wrap her head around really killing someone who hadn't hurt her in any way yet.
It just didn't feel right.

She could still recall her childhood days with Ashton.
As kids their grandparents were really close with each other so they often took them to play dates....
Giuliette smiled as she remembered him always teasing her for being to small for her age.
She on the other hand always teased him for being so mean.

"Bully's don't get a Happy End or a princess to marry!"

Giuliette took one last deep breath anf fixed her dress one last time.
She walked out of her giant family mansion her heels clicking on the way out.
In her drive way stood a glamorous limousine with Alex, the family driver
holding the door open for her to get in.
She smiled his way and gave him a nod of approval wich he returned.
Alex closed the door after she sat comfortable and started to drive her to the Castel they rented for the night.

As Giuliette walked into the gigantic ball room a specific pair of eyes turned her way.

Ashton made his way over to her.
He offered her a hand,"care if I steal you for a dance."
She gladly took his hand and smirked.
"No, lead the way.."
Ash lead them both to the dance floor wich was in the middle of the room.
A dark blue light filled the room.
It reminded Giuliette of the ocean.

Ashton and Giuliette started dancing slowly to the beat of stand by me.
They fitted the melody perfectly.
Every move was full of perfect harmony.
They resembled the ocean before a storm quite but deadly.

"Are you enjoying the Party so far, little one..", Ash spinned Julie
Around herself once.
Julie smiled as she heard his pet name for her.
"Oh yes I'm quite having the time of my life now that your here."

"I have a feeling something is troubling you , little one.", he paused and looked Her  in her eyes, " Your eyes don't have their usual spark.."
Julie took a sharp breath...
He had hid a nerve..
"I've changed a lot since we last saw each other.", now she also locked up into his  eyes.
Change is normal when your being accused of killing your own family for power but of course he didn't know that.
They stared each other down quietly fighting for dominance.
"In a good way?", Ashton broke their eye contact.
"That you have to find out.", Julie smiled bitter sweet.

•As the two focused on each other they didn't noticed the time moving on.
Only 2 minutes were left until the peace contract expired..
And the storm slowly fell over the ocean.
You could feel the rising tension between the different mafia members that were gathered all around the room. •

Right as the clock strickest midnight the tension reached its high point.
You could hear guns clicking all over the room and as in slow motion the room parted in two groups of people..
No two Mafias.

Ashton pulled Julie behind a wall right in time before bullets started to film the room.

Julie was shocked from his action.
„Why did you save me?"
He looked her way and started smirking, „I don't want you dead or at least not yet.."
„Very funny Romeo!
Do you know what all that means..", she referred to the two mafias fighting each other.
„I know
It means war.
That means we're..."
„Enemies...", they Said at the same time"
